- very strategic n accessible to shopping Rooms need refurbishing

Bathrooms not that pleasant This is a very economical hotel by virtue of it's proximity to the shopping district. IT is directly opposite People's Park and very convenient / easy to pick up taxi or move with the subway ( Station just opposite )
Shopping Tip : Nanking Street is just a few meters walk away !

they had a bed in he room it was freezing no one spoke english and he room service was terrible i will never in a million years go back to this hotel that was way below any standard one could expect i guess there was a reason for the good deal which is not allways the case dont know where to begin it was freezing cold the policy was no to turn on the heating the minibar was never filt up the roomservice took forever if reacting at all and only had noodles you get the idea

Just 5 minutes walking to the shopping Canter, Nanjing Road and Subway. The room is quite nice, clean and big. The bath room is clean and hot water is working well. The price is reasonable when book with agoda.com, otherwise, it's very expensive one. Lots of dust because of in the middle of the town. Great value. I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a larger room. beautiful old wood, yet a TV and PC with internet in the room. Directly opposite from People Park, so you will find this very central. Staff are not the friendliest. I had trouble getting a taxi to stop outside - I think they prefer the larger hotels, so walk around to one of those. Great value. Travel tip : The Park Hotel next door has porters that might get you a cab easier!

The location is on Nanjing road. that very strategic hotel in crowded area. the pasific hotel also have a clean room and good Service although pasific hotel have a strategic area but i feel very hard to find the hotel by Taxi.. because almost the taxi Driver don't know about pasific hotel i think that, pasific hotel must improve the service and facilities so pasific hotel can be better than the other hotel

Location of hotel is good the room I got was very nice and comfortable. Some of the staff not very friendly more rude. To extend my stay was difficult and had to pay much more for my room than the other days. Location, room and some of the staff were good, but when to change something it was difficult not possible and instead of being helpfull and try to find a solution they were not friendly more rude and nothing was possible only if you pay more as always So because of this I will not return to this hotel and certainly not recommend it to others.

Vienna Bar looks like a brothel (the sign 'Not allowed under 18' says enough).
Sometimes receptionists weren't very friendly. We were all very happy with this hotel. Especially the location of the hotel was perfect. The hotel is at the People's Square, so everything is nearby (subway station at the other side of the street). Sometimes the receptionists weren't very friendly. Especially the female receptionists (they don't speak English). The men were very helpful on the other hand.

Vienna bar seems to be a brothel We were all very happy with the hotel, the location is perfect: the hotel is at the People's Square so everything is nearby. The Vienna bar looks like a brothel, with a sign that says 'not allowed under 18'. The girls that come out of this club never wear more than 4 pieces of cloths.

The lobby, impressive. Reception and bell-boy are great. location is good. That is about all. House-keeping staff, rude. The towels looks used and not fresh.Felt itchy upon using it. Very run down dirty room at the back of the hote. Let's put on a good front. It is all about the "face". The front of the hotel looks impressive. The lobby is charming as shown on the internet. However upon checking in...reality bites. They should have shown picture of the actual room we are paying for it now. Cannot help but feel taken for a ride for the price one paid.
Agoda should also inform us that we must leave RMB500 as a deposit upon checking in. I felt quite disgusted as if the hotel do not trust us.
The room for the promotional rate is at the BACK of the beautiful front. So what is not nice and not to be seen is always placed at the back.
The room is so bad, I would not even consider it 3 star. The tv reception...sand-paper is clearer.
The worse is i noticed that the bath-towels looks like it has been there for a long time. I used it...immediately felt itchy. So I asked for the chambermaid/housekeeping girl for a new towel...she looked at me with daggers in her eyes. Her hands was on her hip (that is a rude body language in chinese culture especially if you are a service staff!!).
But I must say the location is good. It is near to the train station and walking distance to shopping centres.
Travel tip : please request to see the actual room prior acceptance. Better if we could see the actual room online before making a reservation.

The quick and convenient transportation from the subway entrance. If the annex, to be unable to go through the front of the club room. Rooms are paid only drinking water, plastic bottles of water should be. Support of the front check-in and check-out was smooth. We also support for a bellboy with a smile and was able to comfortably spend. The location of the room to stay until midnight, you might hear played at a karaoke club. (To be nervous, not care less about you)
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Surrounded by so many people until late at night, I think it's relatively safe going out at night. Many stores are a cheap massage, but I can not get through the Japanese, the response was good.
