Excellent English Language Support. Centrally located. Historic building. Bar served bad drinks. Lots of Prostitutes/Beggars at night. A good place to stay for foreigners. Good Location. Avoid the bar and ignore the prostitutes/beggars and things are great. Cabbies know where the Park Hotel is.

Can't beat Location and relatively clean This hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Shanghai. The staff is not overly friendly or on par with a 5 star service operation, but it is not a advertised as 5 star hotel. I definitely think the value is there. I have stayed in many of the 5 star hotels in Shanghai but have paid 5 times the price for only a slight improvement of service, but in any case the location can't be beat, and I feel once a hotel reaches a certain standard of service, cleanliness, and efficiency, its all about location, location, location.
Travel tip : Everything is within a 5 minute walk, or 5 minute taxi ride. Nanjing Lu, People's Square all within a 3 minute walk. Xin Tian Di, Yu Gardens within a 5 min taxi ride.

Good location, easy to get cabs. Clean and comfortable, friendly staffs. Good New Jap Restaurant with good grilled fish. Really yummy, must try. Noise from neighbouring room and hinges of room doors need to be adjusted to reduce noise level for closing doors. For the price and good location, clean and friendly staffs. A good bargain to stay.
Travel tip : Subway is really close to hotel, very convenient.
