Hotel Description

Being a part of Jin Jiang International Park and opened in 1934, Park Hotel is a national key cultural preservation center since 2006. It was listed as Time Honored China Brands since 2011, and passed down the non-material cultural heritage of shanghai. The property was also awarded Shanghai Famous Marks, which has been the highest building of Shanghai for half a century and kept the record in Far East for approximately 30 years. Located at the heart center of downtown, Park Hotel is endowed with convenient transportation. It was designed by famous architect L.E.Hudec according to the American skyscrapers in the 1920s. In 2009, after a series of refurbishment and new measures, Park Hotel succeeded in establishing the wall of fame, and became the center of culture and history. The exhibition room can show you the cultural and historical background of the hotel in the past years. Park Hotel has now the ideal place for tourism and business meetings.

Lau C. Families with older children Singapore, May 12, 2013	Rather disappointing Rich history and location 5.7 Overall it was acceptable. However room service staff are rather rude during late night. The tap in bathroom is very un-user friendly. Also had an insect behind curtain. Unlikely to return to this hotel though location is great.

DO NOT eat there - you'll regret it. Staff are generally friendly, but it's hard to tell. Feels like you're walking onto the Titanic - the whole place could do with an update. But, it you want a comfortable room in convenient location at a good price and don't care about the rest - then have a look at this place.
