Purple Mountain Hotel Shanghai - Deluxe Room
Deluxe Room

All guestrooms are located on 25th floor and above, offering a stunning bird's eye view of both Puxi and Pudong. Looking out, guests can either see the Jinmao Tower, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and the Bund, or the beautiful Huangpu River meandering through the jungle of skyscrapers away into the Shanghai horizon. All guestrooms are equipped with broadband internet access and voicemail. Room size: 32-36 sq m.

Purple Mountain Hotel Shanghai - Executive Room
Executive Room

Executive rooms are located from 25 th to 28 th floor, close to the Executive Lounge (26 th Floor). These rooms, refurbished in 2002, are designed to create a harmonious live/work dual nature for the space.. The upholstery, with a dominating yellowish beige tone, is interspersed by vermilion (as from cushions and chairs), sapphire (as from the huggers and bed runners) and some mahogany (as from the cabinetry), generating a cozy family feel with eclectic modernity. The bathroom, bearing an open concept, a theme shared by both executive floors and the premier club, is a hip design. With just a sliding door in between, the bathroom connects seamlessly into the living area, enabling a better relaxation (like watching TV in the bathtub) while making the room look more spacious. Room Size : 32-36 sq m.

Purple Mountain Hotel Shanghai - Premier Club Room
Premier Club Room

Occupying the top three floors of the hotel, the newly introduced Premier Club Rooms all boast a stunning bird's eye view of Shanghai. The interior design, distinct and sleek, accentuates delicate frames and clean lines. The brown cabinetry complements the navy blue elements of the room, creating a chic business environment. The washroom is separated from the living area by a drape. When the drape is drawn open, the washroom becomes an annex expanding the room not only in space, but also in function. Room size: 32-36 sq m.

Purple Mountain Hotel Shanghai - Premier Club Suite
Premier Club Suite

Located on the top floor (42 nd floor), the 8 premier club suites offer you a completely different accommodation experience. Built along the ridge of the mansion, these penthouse suites feature a very special sloping glass roof, which is unique in town and beyond comparison. When the sky is clear, you can look into the distance barrier free as the hotel establishment makes the pinnacle among the surrounding buildings; when it is a rainy day, you can hear the rain drops tapping on the window softly, making a dulcet sound. Nobody can see you unless he is another twenty floors higher, so you can leave your curtain (automatic curtain rod arm uncoupling apparatus is installed) open to let the moonlight shed in or stargaze the night sky. The upholstery is of the same style as that in the premier club rooms, and the open-theme wash room enables the guest to bathe in daylight, enjoying a great view simultaneously. Right under the roof windows, a chess table and a TV sit elegantly on a tatami style wooden board to offer the guests entertainment options. Room Size : 56 sq.m

Great location, truely 5 star hotel, clean, great decor, all rooms are 25 story up, good foods

None

The hotel is located at the heart of Pudong business district, where lots of restaurants, and bars are around the corner. It is 5-star hotel, very clean, great services, and great restaurants in the hotel. If you want to connect to PVG (Pudong airport), the hotel is at the best location. You can take a airport bus (one block from the hotel), or metro (2 blocks from the hotel, the metro connected to Maglev train to PVG), or take a taxi cab. My friend and I had a buffet lunch in the hotel. It was great, lots of variety in great quality. We all like it. The hotel had turndown service in the evening, which also made me feel very good about the hotel. The hotel is in the upper level of a business building, all the rooms are at 25-story to 41-story. Mine is at 38-story, which had a great view of the city. The decor of the hotel is very good too. I like the hotel very much.

Restaurant Tip : The buffet is very good for lunch. It is 125 RMB per person, plus 15% tax. It has variety, including sushi, and western style grill. I think it is great in value, and very good service. It worthes all the money, very reasonable.
