Good service, great staff, lovely hotel I only stayed for one night at this hotel for business purposes, but the room was very nice a good size, nice decor and very comfortable with everything I needed, the staff were very helpful and polite and I have no complaints about this hotel at all. The location is very good also for what I needed and I will definitely stay in this hotel again next time I stay in Shanghai, considering the standard of the hotel the price was also very reasonable.

Service level. It took me quite sometime to finish the check in and check out processes. This hotel is really value for money in terms of the price for a 5 star hotel in the central locations of Shanghai Pudong. The location is very convenient as shopping malls and restaurants are just within working distance.
The special promotion room is small but cozy! All necessary faciliaties are there. However, I didn't take their breakfast, so I am not sure how good they are.
Again, if you just want a hotel to spend the night and you care about the star ratings... this would be a good hotel to choose from.
Hotel Feature Tip : Internet access cost RMB100 for 24 hours from 12:00noon onward. So, if you check in early, say 11:00am, don't use the Internet until it is 12:00noon, or else, it would be really expensive for you!

the hotel food quality is to improve further the location is strategy with easy access for foods and tour / shopping around in shanghai. hotel attedants are friendly and the room condition is also well maintained. i would re-visit this hotel in my future trip to shanghai as the room rate is reasonanle, it is value for money that i paid for.

The equipment in the room is not convenient for using. This hotel is very convenient for my stay. It has many restaurants and shops around the hotel. But the internet is not in the hotel charge, and not fast as expected.
Restaurant Tip : Gatten Sushi is very nice !

Outdoor swimming pool I've stayed at Purple Mountain on several occasions and every time I have had an EXCELLENT experience. Everything about this hotel and the service provided by staff is 5-star. Highly highly recommend.

It is very nice place to stay here. Because it is convenience to hang around. Good food and good place. The internet is slower that expected. Thank you to Agoda to give us easily to find out the place to stay in other countries. The hotel is good and easy to travel around the city. There is many shops near the hotel and we can entertain ourselves every day.
Restaurant Tip : Gatten Sushi is very delicious near the hotel. I really like it and have it every trips when I be in Shanghai.

beautiful view, nice shopping area, impressive business buildings around. some hidden cost such as internet, only 2 breakfast buffet manauls in whole week. It is my dream hotel. It has a beautifyl view. You can see Eastern Pearl Tower, Finacial Center, HuangPu River,and other colorful roofed community buildings. I love the curtain divider between bedroom and restroom.

Great location, truely 5 star hotel, clean, great decor, all rooms are 25 story up, good foods The hotel is located at the heart of Pudong business district, where lots of restaurants, and bars are around the corner. It is 5-star hotel, very clean, great services, and great restaurants in the hotel. If you want to connect to PVG (Pudong airport), the hotel is at the best location. You can take a airport bus (one block from the hotel), or metro (2 blocks from the hotel, the metro connected to Maglev train to PVG), or take a taxi cab.
My friend and I had a buffet lunch in the hotel. It was great, lots of variety in great quality. We all like it.
The hotel had turndown service in the evening, which also made me feel very good about the hotel.
The hotel is in the upper level of a business building, all the rooms are at 25-story to 41-story. Mine is at 38-story, which had a great view of the city. The decor of the hotel is very good too. I like the hotel very much.
Restaurant Tip : The buffet is very good for lunch. It is 125 RMB per person, plus 15% tax. It has variety, including sushi, and western style grill. I think it is great in value, and very good service. It worthes all the money, very reasonable.

Kindness, frächa rooms, great views, wonderful massage, easily get help by taxi, train ticket, etc., cheaply by taxi and close to subway I was tired and drawn to this hotel ... even though I arrived early so they arranged a room without delay .. I got a wonderful room with a fantastic view ... after a great massage - a combination of oil massage and Hawaian in 90minuter .... good serveice with everything I'd need .. please go there again ... cheap taxi so no problem although a bit off the inside center ... close to subway for those who want to go there ...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go up the Finance House and see a great view!
