This hotel did not meet our requirements. We wanted to order some food to the room at 2pm and as it turned out nothing but pizza was available at this time of the day. Also the hotel charged for usage of the internet in the lobby and we have stayed at many other, both finer and less finer, hotels in China and have never had to pay for internet before.
Me and my husband picked this hotel because of its location, close to the airport. The pickup service was excellent.
The menu to choose room service from before 6pm is very limited. The hotel charge for usage of the internet.

We were unable to contact the hotel to arrange pick up and the taxi wouldn't take us for less than 100 Yuan. When we arrived to our pre-booked room, it was already occupied - we found someone in the bed. Shocked. He wasn't too pleased with us...it was all a little taxing at 3 am. The duty clerk found us another room but we had to go back down in the lift with all our luggage to get things sorted. It took us about 30 mins to get into our room so we were not too pleased.
Convenient to the airport.
We arrived during the early hours and the service staff were 'sleepy'...a little disorganised. Can't walk to the hotel and taxi costs 100 Yuan for a 300 meter distance!
- Hotel Feature Tip : More care when allocating rooms. Ensure late arrivals can access shuttle service. The cost of a taxi adds hugely to the cost of this hotel.

No need for luxury when the idea is just to take a flight so the hotel is fine for that purpose; having seen other hotels in the price range the price of Ramada Pudong Airport Hotel can be explained with the great location only.

I think it is a little bit too expensive.
This is a good place when catching early flights from Pudong. They also offer day rooms, for a very comparable price: 6 hours for RMB 370.- Good to take between planes.

I would recommend this hotel to any business traveller, but best check if any renovation work will affect your stay.
