This was my second stay here, I came back to save a few bucks in my last few days in SH... Basically the rooms are big, and the hotel is in a very convenient location. The bed was hard and the towels were a bit worn. If you're looking for luxury try a newer place... if you just want convenience and space then this would be perfect. My internet wasnt working and they wanted me to switch rooms rather than fixing it...

Private, quiet, well appointed, SPACIOUS, super convenient location, relatively inexpensive for what you get.
a little hard to find
breakfast is definitely not continental... maybe a sausage and some fruit but most of the fare is quite eastern so be prepared or head out elsewhere.
Didnt really have any complaints... just know in advance that the hotel is down a small alley (with security guards.... not like a dangerous dark alley) that opens up into a large garden style court. (Very classy and quiet at night, even though it's right off one of the busiest shopping streets in Shanghai. If you dont speak Mandarin just call the hotel and let them tell you driver where to go. After the first night there it was no problem. I was traveling alone but they still gave me a 2 bedroom suite for the same low rate. Kitchen, living room, office area with desk, phone, PC, and wired internet all proved to be very convenient.
