reasonable facilities (room, dining) for the prices, near the metro station. the attitude of the counter staff - very rude and unhelpful Upon arriving at the hotel (late at night due to our flight and the long way from airport), because we booked 1 night thru Agoda and the other 2 nights as part of the organized tour, we did ask the counter staff to arrange so that we don't have to change room after the 1st night. We were told that would be the case and we just have to come to the counter to do the paper work next day. On the second day after a busy day about town, when we returned we found our swipe key no longer worked and were told by the counter staff ( not the one from the first night) that we have to change room straight away, they refused to budge on this, and saying the original staff was wrong. Also breakfast were included in the second booking but counter staff never mentioned it to us, we heard same story from other people in the same tour group. Also things like putting a family of 4 in 2 rooms at different floors.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Very near the one of the metro station , 10 min walk. There are also a number of reasonable price restaurant around. There is ATM machine at the lobby of the hotel.

Close to JingAn Park, Temple, Metro and West Nanjing Road. Quick to get to from Hongqiao Airport 20mins. Clean rooms and quiet. Fairly basic, but clean and OK for few days. You get what you pay for with this hotel. Cheap and cheerful. Worth staying if you are on a budget. Very close to some interesting areas and JingAn metro station. From here you get rapid access to all parts of the city. Probably best to eat out as there are some good restaurants nearby.

Lack of English channels.
Cigarette smell in non-smoking rooms. The hotel was nice not out of the extraordinary. A good place to stay. Good for the money you pay. I will like to have better channels selection thus is has not too many channels in English. The rooms were nice, good accommodations. Service was good also. The smell in the non smoking rooms has to improve, it seems that you are in a smoking room.
