The Sofitel does not charge children under 12 years of age if they are staying in a room occupied by parents and using the existing bedding. This is limited to one child per family, however, and additional fees will be charged should parents require a rollaway bed or cot.
For children 3 years and below, breakfast is complimentary. For children between the ages of 3 and 12 breakfast is charged but at a special children’s rate, while those above 12 years of age are charged the same rate as an adult.

Good sized rooms, Bathroom has great view. This is my 3rd stay at the Sofitel Pudong. The lobby is very impressive and the desk staff made check in nice and quick (Even though we arrived at 7am) The rooms are very spacious and the bathroom has a great view od Pudong. I choose to stay at this hotel as it is very close to the New Expo Centre.

Very close to Shanghai New International Expo Center Breakfast really needs to improve. Quantities were very small and no one bothered to refill unless asked which took ages. I stayed at the Club Superior room which has snacks and drinks included on the club floor all day. I went there on two occassions at 5 PM and 9PM and they said they had nothing available which was surprising. Excellent location for people attending conventions at Shanghai New International Expo Center. It is less than 5 mins by Taxi
Reception staff extremely courteous. Concierge very helpful too. Good size and Clean rooms. Comfortable bed.
Club Rooms have excellent views. Hotel also has an award winning revolving restaurant and Bar on the 46th floor which has great views of Shanghai Skyline. Must visit.
Taxis easily available at any time. Overall recommended hotel.

Easy to get to Exhibition Centre, clean, rooms great, great views from Club level, friendly far away from everything with nightlife and shopping, the Hotel is boring, no Bar, no program, no Nightclub. No reason to stay there other than to sleep. though it looks good the Hotel offers very little (and I mean it) to entertain guests. It has a small lobby area where they will serve some drinks but apart from that you cannot have a nice drink at a Bar, meet people or do anything special. I upgraded for the Club rooms which at least gave me the opportunity to get Happy hour and meet some business people on the 42nd floor, but at a hefty price.
If you like it convinient to the exhibition, nice rooms and really quiet with nothing to do, this is the Hotel for you
Nightlife Tip : grab a Taxi, don't try to find anything around the Hotel
