Excellent location; great gym; comfortable bed; very good concierge staff Internet price is outrageously high I stayed at the Sofitel for 10 nights. I got a great rate - but that meant I got one of the old, non-refurbished rooms. The bed was great but the closets were old wood that didn't open/close easily. 24 hrs of Internet access is almost $20 USD! And didn't work all the time. But the bed was very comfortable; the gym was great; room had an electric safe; concierge staff was very helpful and had decent English skills; currency exchange was very fair.
Restaurant Tip : Three On The Bund, New Heights. Great food and view from their Terrace up and down and across The Bund and Pudong.

Position of the hotel, skilled Personal, very clean, good english knowledge of the personal some rooms are older (try no to get them), very expensive additional services (mini bar, restaurant, bar) The hotel is good value for you money. The rooms are cleaned 2 times a day. I missed swimming pool. I reserved junior suit and the stuff presented me first very small, dark and sorrowful room. I wanted to change it immediately. After 30 min I got new and nice room on the 9th floor (910). The rooms from 9th floor are renewed and better.
Travel tip : There is internet free of chrage (WiFi)- dont buy expensive cable connection from hotel (120 RMB/day).
Nice breakfast can be found at small chinese shop in fromt of McDonalds- driection metro station. Hotel is very expensive.
