Very convenient location
located in the heart of Shanghai, walking distance to subway lines 2 & 10, very friendly staff, internet included

I choose this hotel because of his very convenient lcation. Easy to be rwached by taxi but more importantly very close to the busy Nanjing East Road as well as subway stations for line 2 & 10.
The hotel staff was very friendly.
The rooms are a bit old but in good condition and everything is functioning well.
Another good value is that internet is free of charge.

The selling points are location, it's located on the Nanjing Pedestrian Road, two MRT lines meet here: Line#2 & Line#10. Many restaurants and fast food shops are around the hotel.

It is a high class hotel in a nice area. Near Nanjing Road East Metro. Close to People Square and the Bund. Staff are friendly and very professional. Almost everyone speaks English.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take Line 2 from any of the airport to Nanjing Rd East. Very closed to the hotel. Be aware of scammers, they seem to wonder this area a lot and some of the hang around just outside the hotel, especially the Nanjing Rd East exit.

Good hotel, ok location for regular tourist

Aside from being an ordinary high class hotel - I am not sure hat else to describe on this hotel. The service is awesome, almost all of the staff speak English. The room is very quiet and comfortable, the bed is so so nice and all equipments all of them are perfect. I even took a hair cut here and I like my haircut.
Location is also good, it is in one of thebusiest area in ShangHai.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Originally I am staying in Shanghai with hope to go to awesome place near Shanghai like Hangzhou, Suchou, Nanjing etc. However I come during the busiest time of the year - New Years. The area around the hotel is so packed. Getting taxi was hard, buying ticket at metro was annoying. My advise is if you going to Shanghai during the busy time like this - do more research, if you are rich get exclusive transport service or go with tours. Or you can stay in the quieter nicer city like HangZhou. HangZhou is awesome.

The porters need a bit of a kick as they are not as efficient as they should be and require to be called and instructed rather than offering to assist. Other than that, everything was great.
