Nice hotel, good location

the double room was quite small for 2 persons but i was alone so the space was enough and i liked it very much then.
overall it was clean, quiet and comfortable.
the only issue was the a/c device, which was unable to stabilize the temperature.
i would stay there again.

Quality hotel at an affordable price (night)

i had a lovely stay in this hotel. the spacious room is equipped with a comfy bed, nice and clean bathroom with high pressure shower head, couch, working table, mini bar, kettle, hair dryer, safety deposit box, and lots of closet. i was also provided with 2 bottles of water, fresh clean towels, and toiletries everyday. reception staff speaks english so communication was never a problem. location wise, it is around an 8 minute walk to west gaoke train station. this is a very good choice for those attending expos at shanghai expo and exhibition centre(sweec) as it is only 2 train stops away. it is also a 30-40 min taxi ride from pudong airport. there is also a nearby convenient store where you can buy some food and drinks.
the only thing con i found with this hotel is their slow wifi that dips from time to time.
Shopping Tip:
For shopping, go to East Nanjing road and Science and Tech Train station. Avoid commuting via trains during rush hour as it get very congested.

great location, since it's just a few minutes away by car to the expo area. one of the staffs is very helpful too, since he helped us to find a taxi for us. thank you.
Restaurant Tip:
don't go to the restaurant next to the hotel. it's crappy food. better off eating at the hotel or instant noodle.

Good Hotel with Decent size rooms and Toilet
very clean , good size , English speaking staff , amenities like tea/cofee maker (tea ,coffee, 2 water bottles free everyday)minibar, ironing board, electronic safe, hair drier etc, good A/c.

would recommend this hotel . It is near to the old Shanghai world Expo Exhibition and convention center(SWEEC) which is in pudong and 10 minutes by Taxi (14 -18 Yuan one way fare).
But this hotel is far from the New Exhibition centre which is near Longyang Road station (Maglev station).
Travel tip:
Hotel is in a good locality on west Gaoke Road , 5 minutes walk to W.Gaoke Metro station . KFC , and 2-3 small hotels and convinient stores near by .30-40 minutes by taxi to the sirport (one way fare is 140 Yuan , taxi called by the hotel)you can travel from the aiport by MAGLEV train which has only one station ,Longyang station,(50 Yuan one way fare), get down , take a taxi to the hotel (40 Yuan).
It is a bit far from the major city attractions but since the metro is near you can reach the city center in 20 minutes .
please take a hotel name & Address printout in chinese to show it to the Taxi driver.sightseeing places : oriental pearl tower , Nanjing street (Branded stores),The Bund . Yuyuan Garden shopping streets is a pleasure for the shoppers .Also in Yatai clothing and Gifts market , you will find lot of leather goods , clothes, gift articles etc. do a lot of bargaining and finally you can buy at half the price or even less.

The room carpet is dirty but overall is okay. Most of the taxi driver didn't know about this hotel but metro station is near to the hotel (approx. 5 minutes walk)

The Hotel stay was good and conveniently located to the exhibition center ( the reason why we were there).
The language is a serious problem in the hotel. You have to make a great effort in holding conversation with some one hotel recommends as " fluent in English" ( not my words).
Even if you liked Chinese food, the food in that hotel is mediocre. It is not meant for foreign travelers. The breakfast is very Chinese and only Chinese traditional breakfast is served. If you are a foreigner, it is enough for a bad start of the day.

i like this hotel because i could get to two different metro lines within a 500 m walking distance. line 2 got me to the convention center within a breeze and line 7 got me to downtown pudong with one transit.
i had a deluxe queen and it had everything a business traveler needs.
the only negatives are: slow internet, and my refrigerator was weak and did not cool my stuff enough.
the hotel room was clean and i did not try the restaurant.
this hotel is for grown up travelers, if you need to be pampered, chauffered, and eat western food while travelling, this is not the hotel for you.

Good for single business traveler. The room is small, but good enough for single business traveler. Also, it is not far from new Pudong International expo exhibition centre. It charge about RMB 30 from hotel to the exhibition centre. Also, good internet connection.
