Hotel is just walking distance to People's Square, 5mins cab ride to the tailor's market and Xin Tian Di and lots of convenience stores along the way.
Service of staff could be better.
Stayed in this for 3nights in Shanghai, and i liked the hotel's location. Rooms are decently clean but reception staff could be alittle friendlier, other than that, my whole trip was an enjoyable one.
Restaurant Tip : There's a bakery store just opposite the hotel. Walking distance to People's square and there are abundance of restaurants.

A very good location,modern,clean.
Housekeeping very good.
At the congierge they sell stamps with a service charge! Instead of 4,5 yuan we had to pay 8 yuan per stamp.
Breakfast not so good,staff not so friendly
We enjoyed staying in The Bund Hotel;the kids had a very big room and bathroom.The view from both rooms was breathtaking. The location is very convient,close to metro stations,restaurants and shops.
The staff in the bar was friendly,although some still have to learn how to serve customers. There was live music during the week,which was pleasant.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Nanjing Road is almost around the corner;a good bakery at about 20 meters from the hotel. People's Square with a lot of musea is about 10 minutes walk

Bathroom was not clean, Decor was worn requiring refurbishment, Internet access is extra
Hotel is in a good location close to shopping and historical areas. Rooms need updating and should be cleaned better. Also the hotel unlike most I have stayed at in China charges for internet access.
Shopping Tip : Short distance to Nanjing Rd shopping area, fend off fake rolex watch salesman by completely ignoring them, do not react at all. Keep walking.
