I booked a Grand View which come with a Panoramic Window but does not have a great view. Should have book a River View room. Walking distance to The Bund, but at night it was quite scary if walking on Beijing Road. Metro/Sub-way station is nearby.

The staff is friendly and the price I got on agoda was great. The location is nice close to the bund (15 mins walk) and the nanjing street (5 mins walk).

5 mins walk to tourist attraction. do not need to travel a lot cos all the spots are quite nearby. if you want to go somewhere else, 5 mins walk to subway which is quite convenience.

Great location.
500m from mrt and Nanjing Pedestrian rd, next street parallel to Beijing road, is a food street where in small restaurants change food they serve for breakfast, lunch and dinner, also grocery, bakery and fruit store is there too.

paid for an upgrade to executive floor.
regular room are too small, interiors need total renovation and carpets are very dirty.
excecutive floors 16th and 17th is totally different from lower floors, the rooms are new and interior is modern and very cozy plus we had the river view room over looking the "the bund" and pudong area, makes it much nicer.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
hotel is located about 500m away from the bund.
easy access to mrt "east nanjing road station, line 2 and 10 interchange. exit 3 is nearest to hotel.
the shanghai metro rail takes you to most of the tourist attraction. get off to the station your going. example going to yu yuan garden, take line 10, get off yu yuan garden sation...

Centrally located, just blocks from all kinds of activitis and things to do, pretty good service from the front desk

Although we were upgraded to an executive suite, we were not upgraded to executive privileges - no breakfast included, no happy hour drinks or appetizers. It was disappointing as the prices for the hotel's restaurants were quite expensive. But...the hotel is located near many great restaurants and malls, so we were able to eat well anyway.
Great location to watch fireworks on New Year's - and a good price, too.

Be sure to write down the name of anybody you deal with on the phone from the front desk - if you encounter any issues, this will help resolve them quickly.

Hotel rooms quite clean and cosy, service is quite good except that there's quite a nos of wedding dinner, thus quite crowded and rowdy.
One cons is only one entrance to the main lobby, with stairs, thus unloading of lugguage quite difficult.
