High compliments all around except for room and bath lighting. Hard to shave under the spots. Difficult to control variations of room lighting from pre-set dimmer program - nightlight impossible.

langham service is good. their management knows the first 10 seconds when a guest arrive at the hotel is important as this will give the guest to judge the first impression of their services. when i arrive, a very warm face is already waiting beside your car and gave me a welcome with smile! that's many international hotel group operating in prc neglected to train their staff.
overall service is good and attentive. room decoration and size is upto level.
one thing is if the price can lower a bit will be more attractive.

The service at the hotel is very good and always delivered with a smile. The guys behind the desk (Ted) are spot on with info` and I should have used them to help with my arrangements more as it would have been smoother for my `getting around`!! Lessons learned for future.

I spent a few days in this hotel while in Shanghai, the location is very good if you like XinTianDi. The checkin was fast and efficient, the room nice size, well lit and with many options and my favorite a toto toilet with many features. As with quite a few modern hotels the hotel would do better with a little more light and some more options to individually control each. But all in all a very good room, very nice bath and good size walking closet. The service was very good, although at times the concierge service could do with some more knowledgeable people (especially those at night). I would certainly recommend this hotel and will go back myself on my next trip to Shanghai.
