Great Value for Money

Can definitely recommend The Longemont for great value for a five star hotel. Although not the perfect location for shopping and nightlife,it is very accessible to the freeway which makes getting to many places for shopping or eating very easy. It is also very accessible to both airports so overall great hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Superb hotel. Excellent service, facilities and cleanliness. Only stayed 1 night so didn't get to take advantage of all the facilities on offer but room was top class. Free high speed wifi, SAT TV, HBO, good soft bed, magnificent view overlooking city. Great room. Good bathroom with big tub. While not in CBD close enough to get everywhere easily (just don't drive peak hour shanghai traffic is bad) either taxi or metro. Couple conscience stores close by. Good bar/lounge in lobby. Great service on front desk, concierge etc

The steam room was broken and it was exceptionally difficult to communicate to staff due to the lack of English spoken.
The young man at concierge had an attitude problem and was most unhelpful ... They hardly ever topped up the tea making facilities in the room and to get milk to put in

Great place if staying close to Hongqiao airport or train station. Not the best location to explore the city. Nice clean rooms and great pool for kids!

In shanghai it is hard to get better

Forget about best staff because, in many part of china, it is hard to get warmly welcomed by hotels' staff unlikely when you are served with most affection in south-east asian countries. However hotel's location, rooms especially bathtub were good to enjoy
Restaurant Tip:
They have bakery in the lobby. If your want economic breakfast still the bakery in the hotel is the best. They provide you take-out service with discounted rate, too.
