Close to the Bund and on the river. Cheap and cheerful. Clean and well managed

Some staff were poorly trained and were easily confused

Shanghai is getting ready for Expo in 2010 and there is a lot of construction close to the hotel. Due to road closures its harder to get around but the hotel is still clean and well managed and once construction is finished it will be a good choice.Good Breakfast!

Expensive internet\nNo heating\nOnly CNN in English\nVery bad views if not on the front of the hotel\nHotel is old and the restaurent on the outside is very delapidated\nMust use taxis or a long walk via alot of construction

In genereal I would not recommend this hotel at the price we paid way over priced . The hotel location is not good, and the condition is clean but old. I asked for directions to a major Golf tournament and they wrote the name in Chinese for me, and turned out to be the wrong place which cost me over 200 RMB plus 2 hours. they sort of said I am sorry (in between laughter) and gave me an orange and some grapes for my time.\nAm sure there are better hotels around for the money DO NOT RECOMMEND IT
