Stunning hotel around People's park
Live up to the standard of a boutique hotel

This hotel is very well decorated! From the main lobby to the room itself, everything is exquisitely oriental and screams for quality. Staff is very polite and speaks decent to good English, some of them even pulled some random jokes and engaged me in small conversations which is always welcomed.
The location can't be any better if you are planning to enjoy People's park since it is literally located at the heart of People's park area. You just need to walk out of the door and you are already in the middle of everything (some great malls and restaurants around the area as well).
Definitely recommended

Fantasic Hotel
Nice rooms and a freindly helpful staff.

This was my first stay at this hotel and it will not be the last. It is a wonderful hotel. The room was great with a very comfortable bed. It is in a great location for site seeing and shopping. It is right outside of the red line (1) at the Peoples Square, Exit 14.....

I feel like home when I was inside my room. There is a small TV installed at the lavatory. So you will able to watch TV while bathing.
Good Location, you can walk to The Bund (around 20 minutes).

this is one of the best hotels highly reccommended

I always try and stay at the Langham, wether in HK, Melbourne, London or Shanghai. The reason, the STAFF are highly trained, skilled and the welcome is always so warm and friendly.
The rooms are great, it is clean and offers excellent service. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, they go out of their way to help and direct you should you want to go sightseeing.
The neatness and attention to detail is second to none.
I look forward to going back.
Shopping Tip:
The long mall is 5 minutes away, surrounded by great retail therepy and resturants.

The location was excellent! Just next to the exit no.14 of People's Square. Also surrounded by shopping mall, food court and the walking street. Room isn't big but nice. As they said, very 'Art Deco'. Staff are friendly and helpful. It's not too far to go everywhere even you're on business or vacation. Highly recommended.

Good service, english speaking reception, friendly concierge. Above my expectations.Unlike big chains 5 star hotels, Langham is very friendly.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Located just outside the metro station, connected easily to Maglev airport train.

The Hotel is located just a few blocks from the buzy buzy nanking road. The are so much to eat in this area and so much to buy or window shop. It was just amazing. Fronting the hotel is a mall that has so much to offer. The restaurants that I ate in the mall are really good and value for money.Its just a walking distance from everything.
Check it out yourself. Nice interior and super spacious room.

Overall I rate the experience as very good. Service and comfort were excellent. The location was very good for my purposes. The internet technology problem mentioned above was especially irritating because it is the only one I've had to pay extra for, above room cost on this trip to China. The food was also very good, but compared to similar hotels not so good a value for the cost.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Be careful of hustlers on Nanjing Road.
