The hotel was ok for the price we paid. Its very good location so it was very convenient for us. However if u you can afford get a better hotel because this is quite old. For students who only needs a place to sleep is a perfect choice. Not for long stay though.
Hotel Feature Tip:
All the rooms (window or no window) are more or less the same so i would suggest you getting the cheapest one because the difference is very dmall and not worth the additional cost

I stayed at this hotel for one night whilst in Shanghai, and I was dissapointed considering the previous review was not bad at all. The room smelled really bad and even though it was a non smoking room, there was an ashtray there. Smoking was permittes everywhere in the hotel. The floors were dirty and the aircon did not work so it was rather cold. In addition to this the staff did not speaking a single word of English beyond "yes" and "no", and some of them were just laying around sleeping in the lobby.
I would definitely not recommend anyone to stay here. Consider yourself warned.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
It's not a bad idea to jump on one of the tourist busses, gets you around very quickly and you get so see everything on both sides of the river

Good location hotel with very good service
good location, near subway station, many food restaurant around, good service with two times makeup room every day

I had plan that just stay in Yazhu hotel 2 days but I expand 4 day more in this hotel because this is the cheapest hotel and the location, service very good. Near subway station and bus stop, receptionist can speak English. I will come back here again if I travel to Shang Hai
Restaurant Tip:
There are many small street restaurants around Yazhu hotel with very delicious hotpot, baby lobster and some street food...You should try them when u come here.
From subway station u can go every where in Shanghai and nearby town, fee very cheap, english on the train.
Shoud not by bus tour because u can not go all destinations in tour just in 1day. Incase u want to travel by bus tour... do not chose BIG BUS tour because the ticket price is 120 RMD but the service and destination are the same with other bustour just 30RMD for ticket.

总体住起来都还不错,柜台服务人员亲切,态度好,就是设备老旧,清洁度不是很好,但如果只是为了想要有个休息的地方,是ok的～
前面就有便利商店,吃的也很方便,在加上地理位置优越,位于2号线上,距离人民广场站才一站,真的是太方便不过了～
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
我们做地铁到人民广场站搭观光巴士也很棒,去哪都坐著巴士,上下点有15个点,还可随意上下,很不错～

Vaatimaton hotelli, mutta edullinen ja sijaintinsa vuoksi voin suositella tätä hotellia. Kävelymatkan päässä ostoskadulta Nanjing Road. Voit shoppailla ja käydä vaikkapa kiinalaisessa hieronnassa. Voit kävellä People Squarelle, joka Business-keskus. Siellä löydät ihanan puiston, People Parkin. Se on ihana iso puisto, jossa ihmiset käyvät mielellään rauhoittumassa tai vaikkapa picnic-lounaalla. Voit nähdä siellä harrastettavan Taiji´tä tai muita kiinalaisia juttuja. Miehet pelailee siellä korttipelejä. Puiston keskellä pieni lampi. Hotellin henkilökunta mukavaa. Huoneessa ei ollut ikkunaa. Oma suihku oli. Toimiva hotelli kuitenkin.
