Manager at the conceirge is very helpful and speak English very well. Room is clean and could see the Hong Kong territory from the room.

locatiion is so called close to the railway station, but actually quite a bit away from the busy area. mostly are building sites, old residential area surroundings, not many shops or restaurants around. view is good which is facing the shenzhen river (believe it is). lobby is spacious, i didn't try the lounge which they had a band singing english oldies at night, it looked quite nice. my room was ranked as deluxe room but i can't see the difference with a superior room. anyway, recommend fro staying

Best Western Shenzen is a nice place to stay. Good price, good location. Breakfast can be improved quite a bit.

Lovely Chain Hotel by Best Western Felicity.

like every other big chain hotel, everything is quite standard. location of best western felicity hotel is quite nice in shenzhen. a 500 meter walk could get you to lou hu metro or crh fast train in shenzhen where you can connect your travel to guangzhou.
the hotel is quite old, named felicity hotel i guess. but the lobby is huge. i was staying at 18th floor where view is quite great overlooking the pearl delta river.
overall, this is quite a nice hotel where you can relax after working in shenzhen
Shopping Tip:
Lou Hu Commercial City, is within walking distance.

i checked in with 9 other friends and we took 5 rooms, though they were not able to give us on the same floor, much to our disappointment, the reception staff was friendly and spoke english well. its location is very good for shopping at luo wu and on the last day they even helped us to get a 15 seater to take us to macau through zhuhai for rmb ( a 2.5 hour journey) compared to our original of 2250 rmb by taxi to shekou and then ferry to macau ( 2hour journey)

had a 3 night stay in a deluxe room with double bed. i shopped and dined at laojie,dongmen,huaqiangbei,luohu just using the shenzhen mtr. area around hotel is quiet at late hours, including the route to and from luohu train station via an overhead bridge.there is a convenience shop along the road near the hotel entrance you can get basic necessities from. the staff is also friendly and helpful. arrived via hk airport/luohu station mtr, left by luohu/hk airport limosine.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Location near train station allows you to explore few towns from a single location including Hongkong

just 3 minutes walk from lo wu railway station.
the view facing the hills of hk is loverly.
although a bit worn out, still clear and tidy.
lobby was noisy. the buffet dinner was reasonably charged.

this hotel is little bit alike to all the hotel of this chain but service and accomodation quality is on the top. our deluxe room had beautiful view, everything was clean and comfortable, the staff was very fast and friendly. near everybody speaks english. it is very good location iro shopping (max c is 7-10 min. walk), train to hk (railway station and custom) is 3 min walk.

Shopping Tip:
Dont buy drinks/snacks for your room from the elderly woman in the small supermarket in the arcade next door. She will think of a number at the till and massively overcharge you..

i always look forward to a nice gym whenever i stay in a 4 to 5 star hotel. i was quite disappointed to see out modolled treadmill that makes noise everytime i switch elevation mode.a tv at the side of the room makes it impossible to watch tv while on treadmill. generally, the service and the room were very good. ala cart chinese restaurant is just okay. not that special. the service is excellent. people at the reception speaks book english. generally, i enjoyed my stay in this hotel.
