Good location which allows easy access to shopping areas, restaurents and bars.
Reasonably clean. Staff speak limited english and particularly not that friendly. Room rates too high for this standard of service and facilities but the rates through Agoda are reasonable, down side to this is the inconvenience of the internet booking process.
No decent restaurent in the hotel, we tried the Chinese restaurent once but the found the price extortionate and the food owful.
Over all, I will probably stay here again but do my booking in advance and definitely eat out.
Restaurant Tip : If you are into Chinese food, there a lot of reasonably clean, cheap restaurents close the hotel.

location location location The location of this place is great. It is close to everything. KFC, Mcdonalds, Chinese restaurants, the train station, bus station, subway.... everything. I would definitely recommend to everyone to stay here. The rooms did smell a little bit funny. They are very clean and they will let you stay late. I had no problem with this place.

I stayed here before but this time it was ridiculous the amount of noise around me. They put me near some club that had music pounding until all hours of the night. You could feel the bass while you were laying in bed. You couldn't even hear yourself think. Not sure how they could possible give those rooms to people when it is pretty obvious the noise is bad.

The bathroom was spacious.The linen was lovely. reception staff need to be able to assist guests in english. The hotel is well situated.It is a pity though that we had booked a room for 3 people and was then allocated the smallest room out, after major explanations we were then moved to a bigger room, it started the stay on a bad note, but apart from that the hotel is fine.
Shopping Tip : Take the metro to Dongmeng it is much cheaper there than at Lowhu.
Also visit the massage parlour across the road from the hotel, there are very good masseuses.

less noise on exec floor with perks staff do not speak good english -not a 4 star english hotel but for business it is excellent have stayed number of times at this hotel but first time time in executive room - japanese room bigger but this room probably better if you want less noise etc - def worth paying that little bit extra - staff do not speak very good english - breakfast not great but for the money it is good value
Shopping Tip : close to shopping - once over border you are close to the hotel so it saves costs - staff friendly

Conveniently located
- near Lo Wu border crossing
- near subway station to theme parks
- near to shopping malls We stayed here for its location and were not disappointed. It's a 10-15min walk from the border crossing; 5-10min walk to the Subway station and Lo Wu Commercial City (cheap shopping). There are also Reflexilogy parlours across the road for tired legs. Our rooms were standard and reasonably clean. Front desk staff speaks English and able to arrange transport for our group of 9 to Disneyland, HK
Shopping Tip : Try the newer shopping malls near the Hotel if Lo Wu Commercial City is not your cup of tea

Very central, close to Lo wu and Dong Men. Both hotel and the room condition looks very old. Need renovation. There is not many varian for our breakfast. Taste is awful. When we go to check in, the room is not ready yet bcos we come too early, so the operator is just give us the key (but we cannot check in yet0. the we decide to go directly to splenid China. The hotel bell boy suggest us to book taxi from them ,but the amount is quiet expensive, so we wait for a taxi outside and the rate of the taxi is more cheaper 50% than the bel boy was offer.
Shopping Tip : only a few of shenzen's people can communicate in engish, usually they only understand mandarin language.

Overall, staying here was ok. Location is very good - near the Lowu station, Lowu Market - 10 minutes walking and the best is near the Dong Men Market-20 minutes walk (must go and see, cheaper than Lowu)
Manager of the hotel (forgot his name) was very kind, friendly.
Breakfast menu was awful (the worst breakfast menu we've got on this 12 days holiday)
Be careful if staffs of hotel offer you transportation that they claim cheaper than taxi (actually our taxi fare only half of their offering) If you like to shop, this hotel is recomended for their location. And if you are Indonesian, it feels like home for you can see many Indonesian staying here.
Shopping Tip : Shopping is fun and chalengging. For more exclusive items, please go to Lowu. But Dong Men prices is unbelievable cheap. Please bargain at least 80% from original price offer. I bought my bracelet only at 35 rmb from 260 price offer.
Shows at Spendid China was very awful and dissapointed. Very different with what I have see 3 years earlier, Don't know why???

The location was great. It was right down the street from the bus, subway and train station. I came from hong kong, got off the subway and was already at the front door. The rooms are clean, new and the price was very good. There is many restaurants around the area. It is very close to shopping also. If you need western food, it is available in all directions. I would definitely stay here again.

Modern, clean, close to Luo Hu train station, and great value. Breakfast not included in rate, but there are many good value restaurants around (e.g. in Luo Hu train station). This hotel is modern, clean and comfortable, and within walking distance to the Luo Hu train station (about 10 min). It is located just behind the Shangrila hotel next to the KFC.
The famour Tung Men shopping centre is 2 train stops from Luo Hu train in Lao Jie station. I walked there a few times from the hotel, taking about 15 min walk (the hotel is about 1/3 way between Luo Hu and Tung Men). The Windows of the World is at the end of the train line, about 30 min away.
Overall, this hotel offers great value and fairly central.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : To visit the Windows of the World, just catch the train from the Luo Hu station (end of the line). It costs just RMB$5 for the trip.

breakfast was lovely with all kinds of variety on 20th of aug 09.was fine as we were in rm. 1709.the following day on upper level they were having some renovation works,very irritating,
we approach the sales desk,very bad response.
told us tey ewill stop work & 7.00 pm & will not work on sunday.the next morning @ 8.30 they starts again,very disturbing,again approach the reception,a young man name Mr.Jerry
came & immediately change to a different rm.
we were very comfortable.
