Best place for visiting Shenzhen, China. Closed to Metro just 1 min walk from lobby. Just 1 min walk to Dongmen (shopping) The Station of Metro that hotel located is Laogie,therefore, its closed by Louhu station (Big shopping mall and connected to Hongkong) I loved and enjoy shopping at Shenzhen, and love the hotel. Rooms are clean and nice as Pics. Staffs are great, they can spoken English.

Upon arrival the hotel staff was very nice and welcoming. However, they did not speak any English at all and only one or two of them could speak passable Cantonese. Also, beware that they take a $300 RMB deposit upon check-in. They also have a lunch and dinner buffet. The lunch buffet is $48 RMB and the dinner is $68 RMB. There's obviously cheaper food available outside but for the price, I cannot complain. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay there.

The hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. The hotel itself was very clean.

The hotel staff only spoke Mandarin and some Cantonese. No English at all.

We have stayed here for 3 times on the same three week stay in China. And we chose to travel to different meetings and use this as a home base as it was very affordable and offered all the same if not better that all the more expensive hotels. We spend aprox. 6 weeks a year in China and stayed in many many hotels. This was easy - great beds - good food - clean - and a great location which is so close to the Metro. If the staff don't understand you they will ask some one who will. Just a tip if you are staying here make sure you visit Queens Day Spa it is amazing.....15 hrs and only Aus $ 120.00 later great value!

Hotel location was excellent, shop and department store were near. We had problems with taxi, 4 times they couldn't find the hotel and we even had the hotel card, which was hotel name written in Chinese. Near trailway station was hotel, which name was Day Hotel, and taxis drove there instead. We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and they never changed the bedsheets, and never vacuum-clean, carpet was dirty. They spoke only little bit of English.

Shop, restaurant and department store were near.

The biggest weakness was cleanliness. Carpet was dirty and they never changed the bedsheets.

I stayed at Day Inns 2 nights from 8 Oct 08 to 10 Oct 08. The service from hotel is quite good comparing near the 5 stars hotels. On 9 Oct 08 I forgot my key inside my room, one staff came in and tried to help me, even he could not speak English. I also can't understand Chinese. He tried to communicate with me by body language until I understood. Then he got the spare one and could help to to get my key. Just a small thing but I felt very good for that help.

hotel is in the centre of a shopping paradise,it is just behind the hotel and you can shop for anything that you want and the quality is ok, opposite the hotel is a 24hrs eating place,food is quite good,a very convenient place.

Very nice,clean,big,safe,easy access to shopping area.

Very satisfied,nothing that i can think of that needs improvement and dislike.

For the money this hotel is worth it, close to everything, trai, taxi, shoping are within walking distance. I'll stay again if I go to Shenzhen again.

The hotel location is definitely not so good since there is a construction site in front of it, also the hotel is in a small street hard to find and not so pleasant at night. The staff were very friendly helping us with all our requests and they spoke good english. The rooms are big and the beds large and comfortable.

This is an ideal hotel to stay for a family with kids. It is located near to Metro train station (5 minutes walk) and can easy access to Window of World and Hong Kong (From Lao Jie to Lo Wu MTR and then from Lo Wu MTR to Mongkok East Station, about 45 minutes). Furthermore it is near to shopping area.

Clean and near to Metro train station.

Air-conditionerl is not cold enough.
