Great location, accessible to subway
very convenient, price is not so expensive

the place is clean,nice view of the city at night, beds are big, the mrt is just outside, lots of restaurants below, good place to shop for electronics.
downside is that, only 3 elevators sometimes you got to keep waiting for your turn to hop in
wifi needs to have a china sim card, not plug and play
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
electronics parts are cheap there! if you wanna buy gadgets i suggest you go to HK to avoid any refurbished units.

Large and clean room

The Huaqiang Plaza Hotel is located in the CBD and surrounded by shops selling smart phones, computers, tablets, electronics etc. Food was hard to find in the main street, though. The room was amazingly large and clean. Our room on the 29th floor has good views of the buildings in the surrounding area. The price we paid was surprisingly cheap for a top class hotel. The hotel is also conveniently located next to the MTR station. I'll strongly recommend a stay at this hotel.

I stayed at the Huaqiang Plaza hotel for one night and was pleased with the experience.
The rooms are spacious and spotless with great view of the city. Given the fact that the hotel is round in shape, and is located in floors 24-39, i think all rooms will have that great view. The walk-in shower in my room was the best i have ever enjoyed in my trips around the world. Every room has a wireless internet access which makes it convenient to check for guides and instructions over the internet.
The english speaking staff were friendly and helpful, except one lady who was not willing to talk to us. Considering the remaining staff positive attitude, i would imagine the lady had issues speaking english.
The hotel location is wonderfully central and in the middle of the shopping district. Just few steps from the hotel, metro stations for the Red, Orange and Green lines were conveniently present. This means that it is connected to all other areas of the city via metro lines.
Coffee enthusiasts, will find Starbucks in the ground floor quite convenient and may appreciate an espresso or latte in the morning.
The elevator in this hotel is the craziest i have ever seen. Prepare to get passed over few times before it allows you in, and hence, you may want to account for few minutes more than the usual.
I loved this hotel, will definitely choose it next time i'm in Shen Zhen, and do actually and strongly recommend for travellers.
Restaurant Tip:
The hotel is surrounded by a number of fast food restaurants like Pizza Hut, KFC, McDonald's and few other Chinese brands.
