good location
directly opposite main entrance of lizhi park

the accommodation is fine. no problems. hotel is not new, a bit older but reasonably clean by the fairly low mainland standards. hotel is floors 1-6 only.
the problem i had was with the hotel booked shuttle van to hong kong airport. it didn't show up.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Lizhi park directly opposite hotel is Shenzhen's first park. It is well worth visiting. Every morning you can find lots of people exercising in the park. With respect to the hotel, not all rooms face the park. And hotel is up to floor 6 only of the building. But the view is good. There is a dim sum restaurant on 2nd floor and a coffee shop on the 4th. Coffee shop has decent view.

Great Central Hotel.--Super Service
Within 5 minutes walking of major shopping mall...On Main Road too !!

the hotel is very nice...great and very helpful staff..even though only a few understand and speak minimal english, i would highly recommend this hotel to anyone !!! one downside only---the beds are typical "hard as a rock"" asian hotel style...but other than that--i can not fault them on anything !!! i will stay there every time i return to the area.

Travel tip:
Everything you want it 5 minutes or LESS walking distance...great shopping...super restaurants and good access to Hong Kong Airport as well. A great place to stay !!!
