Clean, very well equipped rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, nice location. Small rooms, lack of English speaking staff. Very reasonably priced nice and modern but small rooms, well located for business/shopping/eating, staffed with always friendly and helpful staff lacking English. Would definitely stay there again when on my trip to China.
Hotel Feature Tip : Print out a map with location of the hotel before you arrive to show to the taxi driver. Transcription of the name into chinese will be useful too - taxi drivers have trouble to find the hotel.

Need renovation because it was very out of date hotel This hotel is very old style and if you don't get a room with window, it is very terrible because they only have yellow light and it is too dark for a room, luckily i choose room with window. Location good enough because you can access bus pool by walk 50m. But of course need you to know the Chinese language for help you understand where you wanna go with bus.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you definitely can't speak mandarin, just find another hotel near in city or sightseeing places.

totolly misrepresented it says 4 star but really is 1 star Where do i start ? Maybe the pictusres where it features a single room with double bed and double with 2 single beds ?
Well i got single for us then i got to a room small with tiny single bed and stinks that bad i had to be moved there is noone staying here i tried to cancell all the other nights i booked they just say cant speak english and take 3 days to get out of this dump
Dont waste your money the orient fashion hotel is very good and good position the palce hotel is so far away we spent lots of money just in taxis that cant speak or read english either and get lost all the time .this hotel will nothelp yu in any way

The orient is great location no need for long taxi ride everywhere you go as taxis are more expensive here than most asain places.the orient fashion also has nice rooms that dont smell and dont misrepresent there rooms.there is no food or restraunts around palace hotel you have to get taxi everywhere ,

friendly and helpfull staff. location of the hotel. The hotel is a little rundown; need some improvement in the lobby and the individual rooms. The shower panel can’t be closed properly causing the whole bathroom floor wet. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Particularly john, he showed us the way to the shopping places and even helps us translate phrases from English to Chinese that help us with the taxi driver there.
Restaurant Tip : For Muslim travellers, food is easy to get as there is a Muslim restaurant opposite the hotel and a mosque nearby. Lots of halal café neaby.

Location & Good value price Palace hotel Shenzhen is located in South Yan He Road, Luohu District, close to Wenjin Ferry, separated with Hong Kong by river. It is only 5 minutes from the railway station and Wenjin Ferry and Luohutong Ferry by car. There are also other regular buses from neighboring bus.

Restaurant & massage facilities are near by A lot of taxi driver do not know the name of hotel in English as well as the address should be in Chinese The hotel is worth for the price but not as mentioned as 4 star. Overall the facility is acceptable for the price. The hotel people are very nice and the hotel is clean. You can easy access the supermarket near by plus resturant and massage facilities are near by.

Good clean rooms and good service. Lack of English knowledge of the staff. The hotel is located in between Louhu and Guo mau metro stations. It is located close to the bus terminus (bus no 14) to Guo mau metro station. The hotel staff are friendly and try their best to help, but their lack of English knowledge restrains them from being helpful. The English name of the hotel is not displayed outside the hotel, so it is difficult to find the hotel.

Close to the city.
Friendly staffs.
Clean room. Light very dim.
Loose control switches. This place is really amazing. Worth for money. Very close to luoho centre and can be accessed by any transport mean. Convenient departmental store is located right at the entrance. I also tried the restaurant and it was nice..(though Chinese!!) The room light is dull and electric control switches were weak. The staffs are very supportive and friendly. They try to speak English.. and are really helpful. Overall.. its worth staying!!
Nightlife Tip : There is a massage parlour near the premises. Its nice.

Staff is good and helpful. Location is bad and hotel is difficult to find. Old. Not a 4-star hotel. I took 4 hours finding this hotel and I am frustrated with time wasted. The location in the map in this website is wrong. It is not located next to the Railway line. The best way to got to this hotel is to take a cab/taxi. For the benefit of others that do not speak Chinese, try to pronounce this cab driver- Shen Ting Xuan hotel. No one knows where and whether Palace hotel exist and most taxi driver do not know where you want to go!!! Believe me... Anyway, the location of this hotel is not good. No sign/name with "Palace Hotel" except on the glass door of the front entrance. Isolated and next/off Yan He Nan road which is a main road. The hotel is located at Jin Lian Road which is a street off yan He Nan Road. The nearest metro stop is Guo Mao and you have to take a bus or taxi there. It should cost rmb 12.50 by taxi to get to Guo Mao. I hope my information will be useful to future guest.
Hotel is ok for value despite for poor location and quality. Maybe it does not met my expectation as this is rated 4-star. Staff is really helpful - the one that checked me in. She took time to explain how to go here and there and offered me discount coupons for Splendid China.
Cleanliness is average and hotel is old. But for no-frills travelers, this place is good enough. comfort is average too. bed, furniture, tv, sofa, etc are complete/provided but aged. My opinion, this is not a 4-star hotel. If you are familiar with Shenzhen and just looking for a place for overnight, this is the hotel. For leisure/relax/holiday, I am sorry, please look somewhere else.

very affordable.
friendly service staff and fast check in and check out time.
near luohu railway station (RMB 20 by taxi).
walking distance to a bus station. Non-english speaking staff.
Low ceilings.

rooms have no view. I found Palace hotel to be quite accessible by bus and taxi but is not near a Metro station. Shopping district Laojie is 20-25 mins travel time away unlike some of the other hotels which are located at the main shopping district itself.
The rooms are reasonably clean but with the poor lighting i was not able to ascertain clearly. It was noisy at night and the beds were hard to sleep on. Temperature control in the room was not working properly but hot water facilities were available. The price was very affordable and there were no problems with presenting the Agoda.com hotel voucher to the reception staff. The reception staff were friendly and gave directions to the nearest transport facilities but did not understand English.
Shopping Tip : To get to the biggest shopping district in Shenzhen, take the bus no. 14 to the next Metro station and take the Metro to Laojie to get to Dongmen shopping plaza. You can pretty much spend the whole day walking around that area.

It looks quite old compare to the picture posted. It's four star rating is totally bluffing. Don't trust it. The bell boy will just stand there and watch you carry your heavy luggage to the check in counter. It's location is about 15-20 minutes from the nearest train (provided if you know the way). It's in an isolated area even the taxi driver couldn't find it.

The hotel is located near to the Shenzen Station (About 10 minutes drive by Taxi which cost about 25 RMB). If you are looking to travel to Gaungzhou or to Hongkong from Shenzen, it is very convenient. The Front office, though they do not speak English, are friendly and ready to help you. The service was satisfactory. There is a supermarket just outside the hotel for your other requirements. The location of the hotel is a little outside the happening areas. All my visitors found it a little too far from their offices and factories. I occupied a room with Single occupancy. The room was small with just one sofa for the visitors. If you happen to have more than one visitor at a time, the room is too small. The hotel is located near to the Shenzen Station (About 10 minutes drive by Taxi which cost about 25 RMB). I had booked for three days, and I had to extend by one more day. I payed more than the amount I paid by credit card though internet to Agoda. I was convinced that Agoda keep their promise of the lowest tariff.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Check out on Window of the world. You can take a metro to the last station. It is a wonderful place to see.

The service lady is kind for me to check in. The light in room is to dark. The hotel place is near city hall, the place is quiet silent good for the rest to travel, the food is nice to eat.

What is this? When you made the contact with any hotel around the world, you had checked all the information of them or not?
1. The name of the hotel( as shown on your document) is not exactly the same as shown on the sign in front of hotel or in hotel card, this point is the difficulty for the traveler to find the hotel.
2. The name of the road of the hotel(as shown on your document)is not exactly the same as shown on the sign of that area or in hotel card, this point is the difficulty for the traveler to find the area of the hotel.
All about these make the traveler lose time, expense, feeling , tired etc. It is not saving the money but losing many-many things.
