Great location but small room
Very good location with reasonable price. The hotel upgraded my room from standard to deluxe. The room is quite clean but small. The staff is polite.

The toilet needs some renovation. The breakfast is very simple and quite disappointing.

Excellent location right in the shopping district

Sunon Holiday Villa is in a great location just opposite a Metro exit in the heart of Shenzhen's Dongmen shopping district. We were simply looking for a place to sleep after a day of sightseeing and shopping and Sunon Holiday Villa was perfect for that. During our stay, our toilet did not flush well but help came promptly after a call to the front desk. There were two things that I found a bit odd - our deluxe room came with breakfast for only 1 person and we were not allowed to use the laptop in the lobby after midnight. Despite these minor issues, I would stay there again.

the room was too cold even the air-con has been switched off. no warmer provided. all the electronic devices were short circuited in the next morning. need to spend time to request for help from the technician.
the directions from the metro to the hotel were not clear although the distance in between were within mile. we spent time to locate the hotel even i printed the map from google and map provided by shenzhen city.
someone would knock your door at night. be sure to always lock it.
good luck when you leave any of the metro exit.

close to the mtr and loads of shopping

sunon holiday villa is a pleasant place to stay if you are ever in shenzhen. there is loads of shopping and eating to be found around the hotel. check in/check out is fast. some staff could speak english and were helpful. rooms are on the smaller size for china but still comfortable. there is only free wired internet in the rooms but free wifi in the lobby.
Restaurant Tip:
There is a nice dim sum restaurant right next door to the hotel which serves really good 流沙包.

our stay here wasn't remarkable in any way other than to say the staff were reasonably helpful and friendly.
what i cannot understand is why a huge business like agoda can only negotiate one meal for breakfast when there are 2 people occupying the room.
i wasn't terribly disappointed since my companion took the breakfast and came back afterwards full of complaints about the poor quality.
nevertheless, agoda you need to negotiate a more equitable deal for your loyal customers. if 2 people stay, then 2 breakfasts should be provided.
