Having booked a 3 night stay at Green Tree Inn, we went with minimal expectations. To my surprise, and to that of parents who had taken another room, we were quite impressed. The property was well located at a prominent street in the city with some good local restaurants at its doorstep. The rooms though small were cozy with comfortable beds. They had a split AC though we did not need it as the weather was quite cool. The best part was the cleanliness, both of the hotel in general and that of the rooms and attached bathrooms.
Do not expect room service or concierge or any dining facilities in the hotel. For us, the language was a slight barrier but we did manage as one or two people at the reception spoke some basic english. But given the costs, this property sure scores high in terms of affordability and basic comforts. It certainly provides good value for money.
