Just outside the city center, the Holiday Inn Youlian enjoys a convenient spot handy to the economic zone and close to Pan Gate. South-west of the city, the HI Youlian is one of the newer additions to Suzhou’s competitive hotel market and has a lot to recommend it to executives and tourists alike. Not being right in the Old City center, cabs are cheap and easy to get and the Pan Gate and surrounding gardens are still only around 15 minutes away on foot. While its position makes it convenient to the business-oriented part of Suzhou – therefore bypassing much of the peak-hour traffic – its deluxe interiors are attractive to those who like big, sophisticated rooms and comprehensive fitness, spa, and sauna facilities.

- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Use the local buses to travel around town, they are cheap, frequent and you get to meet the locals.
