The hotel staff went out of their way to help us in every way possible. The rooms were modern, clean, and well-maintained. I would definately stay at Hotel One every time I am in Suzhou.
The location of the hotel; however, that is also a trivial disadvantage considering all the great things Hotel One has to offer.
Highly recommended hotel. Meets and exceeds all expecations. A must stay in Suzhou. A++

Next to small Amusement park with good rollercoaster
Absolutely lousy location
Hotel One is a business hotel in an area currently without business. It might be the length mirror in the bathroom that's visible from the entire room that makes me think it's a 'love hotel'.
Certainly not a place for kids in the room, odd given the amusement park...
My room above the kitchen had a bathroom that clogged every morning...
The manager arranging a car & driver to Ningbo wasn't heard from or seen for 3 days.
No tourist guides or basic info available, no knowledge from the staff of even restaurants with picture menus..
The hotel is over a mile from even the most basic convenience store, 30 minutes from town and over two hours from an airport
Best thing was a WII near the bar
Restaurant Tip : Lovely Shangri La about a mile away..excellent buffet, better location ( means convenience shop less that 2 blocks away)...same price or less for the rooms!
