Below my expectation

Well below my expectation.First the staff at the check-in counter couldn't even speak one word of English.Then they said they couldn't trace my booking thru Agoda.So I insist on seeing their manager and to contact Agoda Customer Support.Later they said that they have traced my booking but have to verify With Agoda first regarding their payment.It took us almost 2+ hour just to check-in.

Only stayed on night.
Slow check-in, unhelpful staff.

The check-in was very slow as there were lots of Chinese people pushing to the front. When we finally got served, they couldn't find our reservation and hardly spoke any English so communicating with them was an issue. We tried to buy tickets for breakfast but the receptionist was very unhelpful and told us we needed to buy them in the morning. Reception was bus the next morning when we tried to get tickets and the waitress was particularly unhelpful. We ended up going to the Spar a few doors down and getting some pastries. We only staying in Taiyuan on the way to Pingyao and it doesn't have much to recommend it! This hotel is too far from the station to make it a worthy stop-over hotel. There are plenty of others near the station that are much nicer and equally as cheap.

We were surprisingly delighted with this hotel. Our room (1017) was adequately sized and the beds were comfortable. It was clean and no-nonsense. There was a very large supermarket (SPAR) just a block and a half away where you can get any needed items. The "morning market" (from about 6:30 to about 8:30), where you can get locally grown fruits, is only a half-block away and is definitely an added bonus. The staff was very friendly and they have a very helpful manager.

Place to crash for one night
Fast wifi in the lobby, warm rooms.

Difficult to communicate with the staff in English but everybody are very friendly. My room was too far for the wifi's range so I had to sit in a lobby to use it or come closer to the elevator on my floor.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
25rmb taxi distance to the bus station which gets you to Pingyao.

Staff are mostly helpful. Rooms are simple but clean in general. Facilities are tired and need upgrades.
The problem is smoking. Rooms have heavy odors of cigarette, even for non-smoking rooms. Hotel needs to apply the stipulated "non-smoking" rules.

zoals alle jinjiang inn hotels was de gastvrijheid, de vriendelijkheid en de service van zeer goede kwaliteit.
het hotel ligt centraal in de stad entoch is het er zeer rustig 's nachts.
de kwaliteiten van het hotel: netheid van alle kamers, zeer goed bed en een zeergoede sanitaire installatie.
de verhouding prijs tot kwaliteit is correct.
we raden dit hotel aan vooral voor hun service.

酒店位置优越，从武宿机场坐201路换乘4路可至酒店门口。离省政府和市政府机构都不远，腿脚好的步行可至。到火车站、山西省博物院、晋祠等有公共汽车直达。酒店闹中取静，服务不错，饭菜可口，周边生活设施完备，性价比高。
