Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.
We want you to pay the lowest possible rate for your room. If you have reserved a hotel room through Agoda, and then show us that you could book the same room, for the same dates, at a lower rate, that is viewable and bookable on another website, within 48 hours of booking your room with us, we will either match that rate or beat it. Built in 2007, this high end hotel is one of the best hotels in Tianjin, and boasts the largest bathrooms in the country. The hotel is connected to a shopping mall that also has a Starbucks as well as various fast food restaurants. Nice pool & sauna. Nice location. Nice room with a marble bathroom, high thread count linen, good safe, 32" LCD TV etc
Gym equipment needs an update. The management decided to switch off the central air conditioning in fall. we stayed here on oct 11th. despite the temperature outside being 16 degrees... the room remained at 23 degrees all night. this is way too hot for comfort. the room was so stuffy i started sweating. i complained only to be offered a room with the same problem. like the whole hotel has the same problem : no air conditioning. their rationale is : why do you need aircon in fall?? like the answer is : does your window open? it may be 16 degrees outside but there is something called insulation, and it's made of glass. in the end the manager offered to open the windows if i signed a liability form (in case i fall out during a romp). imagine this in a supposedly 5* hotel.
stay here in fall only if your thermoneutral zone is 23 degrees. plus they charge an arm an a leg for 24 hours of internet connection (RMB 100 to be exact, the kindof money 4* hotel in the US takes from u for the same service, but this is china).
Restaurant Tip : forget about eating at babelia restaurant opposite the hotel. miserly portions. weird tasting mocktails. horrible thin steaks. super greasy fried food.

Good location, easy walk to shopping and Bin Jiang Dao. Big bathroom and shower.
Expensive hotel restaurants, better off going outside for a better and less expensive meal.
Stayed in Nikko Tianjin hotel on a business trip for 2 nights. Decent hotel, nice room and shower. Room still looked and felt new. Located in central area with many shops and restaurants around.
