What I liked: 1) staff very helpful and responsive, though their command of English should be definitely improved; 2) very clean rooms according to the standard.
What I disliked: 1) the bed was too hard, I woke up with the feeling of having slept on a concrete slab; 2) no breakfast - though it would have been nice to have one included in the price; 3) it was a bit noisy in the room (8th floor) due to some machinery operating nearby.
Stayed just one night 'cause I needed to fly from Beijing to Kuala-Lumpur on AirAsia and their flight actually departs from Tianjin early in the morning.

Service - staff were very helpful, and could not do enough
ambience - a very busy hotel, with ,many receptions and meetings, but still with a feeling of overall calm
Not able to book tours from within the hotel
The Tian Yu hotel is the base for the Tianjin TV station, so the building is located within walking, or short taxi ride to all the major attractions in Tianjin.
The Hotel had well appointed, but small single rooms. The concierge and reception staff were accommodating at all times, including early mornings after returning from the local bars.
The Hotel did not have in-room safes, but a central safety deposit room, which was easy to use and accessible easily, at any time.
I would certainly recommend it for a stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : come out the hotel, turn left, turn left again, walk 2km to reach the Water Park, Tianjin Zoo and TV Tower.

The staffs are very friendly and accomodating.
The room I was given was so small like a cubicle. The money paid to Agoda, can get me a better room, if only I had taken the cash and walked into any hotel in Tianjin.
agoda has cheated me by depriving me of my decent accomodation. i was also deprived of my breakfast, which every guest in any 2 star hotel and above is normally entitled to.
agoda's services stinks and rubbish.
