Large , friendly hotel, with good service
The position of the hotel on the Yangtze is superb!

We were in Wuhan for business, and this hotel catered for our needs very well. The reception area in the foyer was a perfect place to meet our contacts. Our room overlooked the Yangtze river and we spent a lot of time watching the water traffic along the mighty Yangtze.
Restaurant Tip:
We were taken to a wonderful French restraurant just behind our hotel. It was very pretty and the food was fabulous. I believe that there are many more great restraurants in this town.

My Stay at the HoJo

I have traveled to many different cities in China because of my work and been in many different hotels. I would recommend the Howard Johnson to any travels, business or pleasure; you will feel at home there.
If you plan to stay in the HJ in Wuhan I would recommend a room with the river view and to have a cocktail on the 39th floor at night. The view there is great.
You will also find the hotel staff to be very good and eager to meet your needs.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Just outside the front door and across the street is the Yangtze River (Chang Jiang), I would recommend a walk both night and day in the park beside the river. I also took a short night curse on the Chan Jiang and enjoy very much, the cost is about 100 RMB per person. The Yellow Crane Tower and South Lake is just a short distance by taxi from the hotel.

Schoen es Haus , aber das Personal...

Fruehstueck ist chaotisch, keine Teller, ausgerauemte Speisen, es wird nur langsam bis gar nicht nachgelegt, und da um 7h30 morgens, das kanns und darfs nicht sein!! Personal taeglich unfreundlich, das kann nur am Management liegen, das erkennt man als langjaehriger Touristiker sofort.
Businesscenter> der Typ , der dort arbeitet, sureft planlos in seinem internet und ruelpst permanent, was das zeug haelt, nach 4 Besuchen im BC zu unterschiedlichsten Zeiten war das direkt unangenehm und peinlich,der sollte als Muellentsorger eingesetzt werden, nicht als counter agent in einem 5+ Businesscenter. Grausig.
Travel tip:
keine Empfehlung hinsichtlich Personal, aber Empfehlung als Haus. Empfehle eher dem Hotelmanagement eine gruendliche Personalschulung.

武漢出張で泊まりました。流石５つ星なので、観光には便利なホテルでした。特に目の前が長江があり、リバーサイドのホテルなので、遊覧船の乗口が目の前でした。リバービューだったので、夜景もばっちりでした。（住んでいる上海に比べるとちょっと物足りない？！）新幹線移動だったので、漢口駅からのタクシー移動は３５元かかったので、ちょっと距離があるかもです。
あ、あと中国には珍しくシャワーの水圧が強くて、久しぶりに強い水圧でシャワーを浴びれました。
Restaurant Tip:
吉慶街という屋台が並ぶ所が歩いて１５分ぐらいでした。タクシーで５分ぐらいです。
