The hotel is an old colonial type building with the a grand lobby. Reminded me a bit of the splendor of the good old times.
The reception staff is very friendly, but speak little English. Not a strange thing in this town though.
The breakfast if quite generous, but only Chinese food provided.
It's quite nice to be able to go shopping in the shopping zone just round the corner or go for a boat ride just across the road. Taxis are very cheap, thus easy to get around too to far away places
Shopping Tip:
The hotel is right next to a shopping zone. It is therefore a paradise for shopaholics.
