Good location but poor room

Front door only got stairs and is not easy for baby push cars in and out. Room is quite old and lack of maintains. However location is very good which next to shopping areas.

Lovely Hotel with great services

our 4d3n stay was amazing. hotel staffs are friendly and polite. environment is clean. great view of the ocean. just 5mins walk to shopping area and food street. have to book early and through here, if not will be expensive and not able to get a room last minute.

Confusion on hotel name as there were several naming. All the furnishing is quite old and I feel its overpriced. However, the service is good and great location.

Excellent Location but rooms are a little old
Very very good location. There are rooms facing the Gulangyu Island. Its just within walking distance to the ferry. Moreover its at the beginning of of the Tourist shopping paradise.

rooms are reasonable in size but the carpets are just too old and dirty. the hotel itself is just at a very good location where mcdonalds, kfc and others. our package includes breakfast.
the wifi is limited at certain areas of the hotel like the 7th floor. if you are staying somewhere a little further up, you get no wifi at all.
Shopping Tip:
Great location for shopping. You will get the most if you are there over the weekends. There are lots of things to see and eat. Tea is a great business there. Check out the prices before making a purchase as the Tea leaves comes from different places. Some are worth about RMB100 but they are selling at about RMB2000. Just keep a look out.

Great location but a quite standard hotel

We wanted to stay at the pier close to the ferry to Gulanyu so for this the hotel was fine. But the breakfast was really random, the room was very standard and with very humid, dense air. It was not value for money. It did though have a nice view of the habour and bay area. Just next to Zhongshan Lu.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Rent a driver and take a 1-2 day trip to the Hakka Tulou houses

the centralized airconditioned is working very good this time compared to my previous stay last month. I admire the good oriental breakfast buffet served. They varied the menu everyday.
Travel tip:
strolling along zhongshan road is the best way to enjoy xiamen. The hotel is very close to taiwan food street/market which is also near the subway pedestrian to the pier for gulangyi.
