Solo travelers China, December 21, 2012	This is hotel staying like eating fast food All-In-One computer in room 6.3 Service is average, room cleanness is average, no surprise point but nothing is low too, everything is in its location. Specially there's a computer in room for your business or leisure use by surfing web freely. I stayed in high floor so that my wifi signal is weak to connect to internet there. Restaurant Tip: Nearby He Xiang Xi road, you can go and walk around there. Vegetarian Tip: There's few vegetarian restaurant is near He Xiang Xi road. I found one named 心素食坊(Veggie Mind Cafe), which provide very delicious food there. You can try it.

The location of the hotel and the surrounding area is great. 8.3 This Super 8 Hotel is a great place to finish your day. There is nothing fancy about the place, but it is cheap and clean. I like the location, because it is surrounded by local restaurants, shops, and convenience stores. But, it is only a short distance from the malls and train station downtown. There are also bakeries and coffee shops right around the corner, and is within walking distance to scenic areas and streets. It's a great place to drop your things and go out to play, or simply to get cleaned up and have a good sleep. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: This hotel is right between two main streets. There are many buses that can take you all over town. On Xiahe Road, the bus #1 goes to the train station, restaurants, and malls, but in the other direction, it will take you to Zhongshan Road to the sightseeing pedestrian street downtown.

For friends with shopping in Xiamen as the main consideration, the room is comfortable and the its size is adequate. The hotel is walking distance to a lot of eating places and shops, and a bus ride away from the much-talked about SM City shopping mall. A short taxi ride will also bring you to the shopping street of Zhongshan Road and, just a little further, to the port where you get a ferry for Gulangyu Island. Most impressive is the helpful staff. Though with limited English capabilities, they try as much as possible to help you get what you want/need.
