-Slightly hard to find right off the bus
-If you didn't keep the bathtub plugged, you'd smell fecal matter
We enjoyed our stay at the Xian Citadines. The laundry facilities are a life saver. It's a little pricey (20yuan/per load, per machine) but worth it for convenience. Hotel staff doesn't speak english very well but they do try.
The "Taste of Singapore" attached to the hotel acts as a restaurant and morning buffet. Food is awful! Better to walk 4 mins to the Star Ferry right beside the melody hotel. Excellent food there.
We ended up staying a total of 1 week there. Felt comfortable enough with clean laundry and high speed internet (cable in room and WiFi in lobby), would come back.
Restaurant Tip : Star Ferry Restaurant is much better than the "Taste of Singapore" attached to the hotel. It's a 3 min walk north to Melody Hotel (where the airport bus picks up and drops off)
