staff spoke good English
breakfast a good combination of Chinese and Western
water in shower took a long time to heat up
previous people had obviously been smokers
The rooms were large enough to incorporate an extra bed without feeling too cramped. Clean and quite modern although the showers could have been better. Within easy walking distance of the Bund, Nanjing Road and other tourist attractions. The subway is an efficient way to get around and is about a 10 minute walk from hotel.
Shopping Tip : The bakery at the back entrance to the hotel has yummy food and there is also a good fruit shop opposite.

Excellent location, very clean and comfortable, friendly personnel
Internet use is very expensive (3 Yuan a minute) at the Business Center.
The location of the hotel is amazing. It is near Pearl Tower and the view from the room was wonderful (city view, Pudong area). It is really riverside and the view of The Bund is breathtaking at night. The food is excellent (buffet breakfast). It is located near a subway station that makes it easy to move around. Personnel was very friendly and helpful. If you do not want to eat at the hotel, there are many places near by where you can eat. The hotel and the room were very clean and comfortable.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Use the subway system to move around, cheap and convenient.

Dining room was excellent value and Food.
Central Location
Small rooms with low ceilings.
As a family of 5 we needed 2 rooms and with the extra bed in one there was little or no room for anything else. The ceilings were very low by our standards which felt claustrophobic. The Hotel was centrally located and due to a very large rain storm we ate both Dinner and Breakfast in the hotel. The buffet meals were of a high standrad and represented excellent value for money.
