About a 15-minute walk from both the bus terminal and the train station, in a direction that largely circumvents traffic, the Silk Road Hotel is a large hotel with lots of amenities useful to the modern traveler. In a highly-visible position on Jiefang Road, cabs are easy to hire and it’s only a five-minute drive into the city center. A walk to the Bell Tower takes roughly half an hour – the journey taking travelers past department stores, businesses, bars and restaurants.
