The Sofitel does not charge children under 12 years of age if they are staying in a room occupied by parents and using the existing bedding. This is limited to one child per family, however, and additional fees will be charged should parents require a rollaway bed or cot.
For children 3 years and below, breakfast is complimentary. For children between the ages of 3 and 12 breakfast is charged but at a special children’s rate, while those above 12 years of age are charged the same rate as an adult.

Excellent English. Easy to locate. Given the occupancy was quite low, it would have been nice if the hotel closed one wing. If you want to be near the pool, make sure you’re in the East Wing. Great off-season deals.

price, quiet, features, staff. room too warm. We were in the West wing, which was far from pool, gym. The staff was excellent and helpful. We had left jewelry at an earlier hotel and they helped us track it down. Excellent English. Easy to locate. Given the occupancy was quite low, it would have been nice if the hotel closed one wing. If you want to be near the pool, make sure you’re in the East Wing.

Location, location, location! Gorgeous room (we were upgraded from basic to a suite) that was incredibly clean. Expensive laundry service--don't do yours here unless you have to (we didn't). The hotel was in an excellent location within the city walls and near a ton of local sites. In fact, skip the overpriced breakfast in the hotel and go wander in the local area for a delicious, local, inexpensive breakfast. We were upgraded to a suite from the basic room we had booked. It had two bathrooms and was large and beautiful. However, don't expect US five star standards. It was clean, but the little details definitely weren't attended to in the same way. I would definitely stay here again. It was clean by my standards--which are very high! Great hotel and excellent location.
