Lovely hotel by the river
Outside town, this is the direction everyone who rents bikes comes, so you're in the best spot

The hotel is nice.
It's 15 minutes from the main town and there are no restaurants nearby, but they do a great breakfast at the hotel.
The owner will drive you into town whenever you like for 40RMB, then you can get a taxi back for the same price from town.
We spent days cycling along the river, then got a ride into town for dinner and the markets, the made our way back later at night. It's about 15 minutes to town.
You can rent bicycles from the hotel.
Rooms are cute, bright, plenty of light coming in from the sliding doors.
The hotel is right on the river and next to where every tour group in the world gets bamboo rafts. So from 7am the bus drivers are beeping their horns and the windows to your room are paper thin.
You must get a room on the top floor otherwise there is no view, because trees block the view of the river from the balcony, other than at the top, which can look over the trees, and then the view is breathtaking!
The owning couple speak little English but they try or they call up one of their friends so it's usually not a problem.

Clean, quiet, simple but comfortable small hotel situated beside the Yulong River, close to Rafts,and easy to cycle to scenic spots

we spent a lovely three days at the bethlehem hotel, using bikes to get around the district. an easy ride to see the yulong bridge, moon cave, banyan tree. the bike hire was 15rmb/day each. they also offer a shuttle taxi service into town for a small fee.hotel is relatively new.the owners are very friendly and accommodating. coffee is good. no meals. they will do a breakfast on request, but we also enjoyed breakfast at tea cosy just down the road. one night we had dinner at the local riverside restaurant across from the bethlehem. the fish was sensational.
