The hotel rooms and facilities are superlative. Rooms are spacious and very well appointed. Staff is very attentive. I did not eat meals other that the breakfast buffet and it was the best I have seen in the limited number of hotels that I have visited in China (10)
Hotel is located about 10 minute taxi trip from town so it is a little isolated but a great place to get away and relax.
This was my first trip to Lijiang but hopefully not my last. The weather was fantastic for the entire week. This hotel exceeded my expectation in every way. The rooms are spacious and very well appointed. The service was exceptional in every aspect. Attentive and courteous staff. English is a little weak but certainly much better that my Mandarin. I would recommend this hotel to anyone interested in visiting LIjiang. It is about a 10 minute taxi ride from both the modern and ancient city. YOu will not be disappointed if you stay at the top notch hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Do not miss visiting the Ancient city in both and night and absolutely must attend the Impressions presentation at Snow Mountain. It is absolutely fantastic and the highlight of my visit to Lijiang.
