Should have been better, the price is equal to much better hotels we have stayed at in the same area. Much noise by nightlife clients coming and going all night on the weekend.

Great Location and service with a smile

The hotel location is great, although room is not that big but is simple and got no problem staying for 2 or 3 nights. Famous walking street is only opposite the hotel. it is very convenient to walk to the China / Macau border, 15mins walk with shoppings along the way.

Basic Hotel in a good location

Hotel is pretty basic. Rooms are comfortable if you can put up with dirty carpet.
As highlighted by other travelers, the toothbrush kit and bottled water are chargeable so its better to bring your own or just buy from the stores nearby.
Location is good coz its within walking distance to the Gongbei/Macau Customs, right in the middle of LianHua Road (the main shopping/dining belt).

This is the second time I've stayed in this hotel. Both times were pleasant and I would recommend this hotel to a friend. I appreciate the attention to cleanliness, soft bed and raindrop shower faucet.

Good Location in Busy Area
Convenience to Lian hua Rd where lots of food to eat and shop. Easy to locate the hotel as it is on the main street

i stayed on the top floor (7/8th floor) and has free cable internet access. don't use their toiletry accessories as you have to pay. luckily they have 2 free bottles of water but make sure you grab the smaller size as bigger size has to pay. the carpet have stains but overall with less than aud $ per night near to christmas season, it is consider cheap. bedsheet may not be so clean too.
do not go to the hair salon (translated name from chinese is 'dream illusion') diagonally opposite the hotel, located a few shops away on the same side of the chang'an hotel. it is very dishonest. they sweet talk to con people. i wanted to trim my hair and dyed red colour. initially they said it only cost $99 for my very short hair but once inside, they stated if i wanted a better brand, it would cost at least $140. this price is considered very expensive in this region as average price is $78. thinking they were going to use a better dyed brand, i selected the cheapest hong kong brand at $140, which included cutting my hair.
however what upset me was at the end, the hairdresser refused to cut my hair which was initially agreed. finally he reluctantly do a quick lousy cut. to make matter worse, the dyed colour hair did stain my pillow!!
