Affordable weekend escape from Hong Kong

We didn't know what to expect when we booked this hotel, but we were pleasantly surprised ... although the property has seen better days (there are some signs of aging here and there), it's a beautiful property. Basically a large North American style neighbourhood with little duplexes lining the roads. Very quiet at night! We stayed in the "Light Inn," which is more like a regular style hotel (located in the "neighbourhood"). We had an issue with our shower door and they gave us a free upgrade to a suite without hesitation! The swimming pool is huge, and very clean (and you need to wear a bathing cap, which you can purchase for 18 RMB). They provide free shuttle service to and from the ferry pier. They'll help arrange taxis within the city. They have a currency exchange counter with incredible rates (better than the banks!). The fitness centre is okay, but some of the equipment is a bit old. Tennis courts looked great (but there was a tournament going on while we were there). One thing that was wierd ... the toilet and shower were in the bedroom (you'll have to tell your partner to close their eyes, haha!).

stayed only one so no time to enjoy the facilites
convenient as hotel provide shuttle to Zhuhai Ferry Terminal.

Stayed only one night. Service is good especialy the concierge who is very helpful. However,only one breakfast is provided for us. Have to pay 60RMB for breakfast for my wife. Overall we are very happy with our stay.
