Had a great stay, the staff are friendly and helpful. Everything you need - microwave and mini kitchen makes it very convenient. Contemporary style is cheerful. Will stay here again!

Great budget business hotel

60 west is truly an interesting hotel. the hotel can be easily accessed by shuttle at hong kong airport express station, or 10 mins walk from sheung wan mtr station. room is very spacious and modern with basic furnishing and no extras. the room is well equipped (flat panel tvs, ipod docks, fridge, kitchenette, wireless phones with free local calls, free wireless/wired internet and rfid lift/key access). staff were friendly, helpful and upgraded me to a large family suite.
it is rather rare to have this size of room offering in a neighborhood that is quiet at night but relatively convenient location.

Staff very friendly & helpful. Location was great. Only downfall was if you blinked you would walk straight by the entrance. Rooms very good size very clean had a view of the ocean. Used gym room every day. Has laundry room on the third floor which was very handy also computer on same floor which was very convenient. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Shopping Tip:
I would take cash and exchange on the streets very good rates a lot better than banks. Try chungking mansions on Kowloon on Nathan rd. always great price. Also the Indian food sold in stalls here is very tasty.

Big Room

Mostly the hotels allocate in Hong Kong Island are luxury/ high rate/ small room provided. However, 60 West Hotel is impress me. Clean, big room, friendly staff...
For their bed provided, actually there is not a King Bed in the room but is more bigger which matched by 2 single beds. 3-4 pax to share a room is not a problem.
In stead of 八通卡, I totally did not use it there. Taxi fare you may also save for shopping purpose. In front of the hotel is 'Ding Ding' Station. 'Ding Ding' route is all along the Hong Kong Island. Which mean from 上环，中环，金钟，铜锣湾... There is only HKD2.30 per trip. Only HKD2.30 you man go for LV, GUCCI, Coach, Longchamp, 兰桂芳, 山顶...
Shopping Tip:
Hotel allocate at 海味街. If you take 'Ding Ding' from 60 West Hotel to Hong Kong's Golden Shopping area is only 5-10 minutes distance.

completely renovated and modern furnished hotel

we stayed 8 days at 60 west hotel and can really recommend it. The rooms are very clean, equipped with kitchenette and spacious for Hong Kong conditions. We used lan connection in the room which was for free.The room was made up every day with fresh towels and two bottles of water. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. A two minute walk brings you to starbucks, which is located in the ibis hotel.The old tram stops right in front the entrance and brings you quickly to western market and downtown.
Travel tip:
Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple. You get there by MTR to Wong Tai Sin station, Exit B2 and about 3 minutes walk.
View 62 is a restaurant and bar which turns round 360°. You get a spectacular view up there.

Nice, comfort and clean hotel. The room was quite big with King size bed. The staffs were very helpful.
10-15 mins walk from Ferry terminal/Sheung Wan MTR. Tram stop is in front of hotel and very convenient to access other part in Hong Kong Island.

the only thing is it is hard to see the entrance of the hotel. it would be helpful if we are told that you can cross the road after you get off the a11 airport bus wihtout using the pedestrain bridge.
