simple boutique hotel with small rooms

the room is small and can fit no more than 2 people. toilet was clean enough with a good shower head. had to climb up a small hill but was close enough to tsim tsa shui shopping areas. room was a little run down though it had a modern interior.

hong kong is ntotiously well-known for it's small rooms everywhere - be it in the hong kong island, kowloon, or the new territories. small is the word for hong kong, but a little too small for the room, really.

Extremely small place
but considering the cost of the place at 500 HKD and its ensuite, it was considered a reasonably good deal.
Pros:

- airport express pick up station just down the slope (free bus ride to Kowloon station to connect to airport express, bus route H3)

- free internet in room via LAN Cable
Cons:
- small
- ceiling of toilet was peeling off
- up a steep slope
- small hotel of only 23 rooms
Shopping Tip:
loads of shops around the hotel.
good cheap foot massages (98 HKD for 45 minutes) around the area!

Great Location and value for money
Hotel location was good, food and shopping around the area, MTR about 5-10 mins walk.

Bed was a little hard and celing was slightly mouldy. Had to wear bedroom slipper as carpet was rather dirty. Could hear the activities going around in other rooms on the same level and room above. Overall, hotel staff is friendly and is always ready to give directions and information. Hotel location is good with food and shopping located around the area. I would choose this hotel again if am travelling alone or with my other half as it's value for money. Will not choose this hotel if i have my kids with me or sharing with another person as the toilet is designed in a way with no privacy. (Could see through the glass)

this is the first time staying in Knutsford Hotel, it located in a very convenience location of Tsim Sha Tsui which is easy for finding food and shopping, as well as nightlife; fair price which provide a clean room and a good environment for a shopping trip; i will definitely come again next time with high recommendation to people look for convenience and fair price living in HK.
Nightlife Tip:
very close to nightlife location, good for young travellers

Once check in, found out that the hot water supply is down. Request to change room and the staff does not know how to handle the situation. Ask the sercurit came and check the hot water supply. The sercurit can not resolve the problem (he is only sercurity). The staff then arrange us to another renovating room to bath.
Moreover, the inter-lock in the room is faulty. So who ever have the key can enter the room. As i ask the staff, she said is safe as the key is with us. It make me feel a bit of unsafe during my stay.
The room is neat and tidy but i wonder why they never check all the facility when guest check out.

this hotel is in the middle of two subway station. it's near most of the shopping mall, very nice japanese resturant nearby, many 7-11 around. the staff is sweet and helpful. no laundry service. this is one close to the hotel. this hotel is really cheap in HK, we used to refuse travel in hongkong because of the expensive hotels but we will definitely come back next time.
Hotel Feature Tip:
when you arrive, you can take free airport express bus line K4 to the cross if you took the express train. and you can take the free bus to take the train too.

Room is clean and modern, location is good and safe. Cost - good for this area of Kowloon. Recommand for Single - male or female or young couple, on a budget.
Acesite Knutsford, so some aspects of the old reviews may not apply. I've stayed here many times on business, both before and after the management change. Yes, the rooms are very small and there is a short steep hill to walk up if you arrive on foot. Neither of these bother me a bit - you may feel differently. The rooms are clean and modern. You can select tracks from their big CD collection to play in your room. Choice of WiFi or broadband in every room - it is a good quality connection at no extra charge
