Small room with great location
At center of Mong Kok and very near to MRT Station

We booked a quad room and the room is just nice for 2 adults and 2 kids. It is very near to MRT station and at the center of Mong Kok. Food and shopping area are all around the corners. Free wifi is very useful.

Free wifi is very useful and convenient. The room is with attached bath room but it is quite small. Good for those who travel a lot and just need a room to rest. Lift is quite small and can fit in 8-9 people only.

the room is nice and small. if you travel a lot and use the hotel just to get some sleep, this is ideal. they have 2 elevators, one for odd number levels and the other for even numbers, once you're on a higher level you can only go down as there is only one button to select. this is time consuming, let's say for example ur staying on lev 8 and u need to go to higher level (their office is in lev 14) u need to go to ground level first before you can reach 14th -yes its a roundtrip elevator ride!
generally i like the hotel because it is well kept, its new (or maybe only the room that was provided to us). it safe, location is fantastic, value for money and so far the staff had been very accommodating during our stay.
Travel tip:
the hotel is hidden so you won't see it unless you ask some locals. here's a simple tip. alight in mongkok mtr station then find exit D2. go straight ahead about 2 short blocks. after the 2nd block (3rd street from exit D2-landmark is 7-11) turn left. the third door is the entrance to the hotel.

Clean and cozy hostel
A mere 5 minutes walk away from Mongkok MTR Station

Very accessible to lots of places. You can walk to ladies market another popular street markets using the bridge or even just cross the road to the opposite side to the night market!
From Mongkok Station, exit from D2. Walk up the stairs and cross the road. Continue walking straight and cross another traffic. You will see a 7-11 after the 2ng traffic light. Turn left without crossing and the hostel is just on the left! Go up the lift to level 14 for check-in.
The owners are very friendly and are able to communicate in English, Chinese and Cantonese. They also sell tickets to the Peak, Disneyland, and Ocean Park at a cheaper price. Hair dryer and towels are available for loan. The room has basic amenities like tv, air-con, a small table, kettle, cups, shampoo and body shower.

If you have limited budget and just sleep, wont stay long in the hotel room then it's okay to choose this one. However I found it very small. The good thing on this place is that it's very near the Ladies market, shopping district and restaurants,
Shopping Tip:
near Mongkok Ladies market and Avenue of Stars (Tsim Sha Tsui) exit J and just follow the Arrows to go there.

Actually I'm helping up my friend to book for this hostel who intend to cram four in one room (3 adult & 1 children aged 12 ) , they are happy & satisfy with the location of this hostel with their budget.

ah shan hostel is located in the heart of mongkok, which is centralized for tourist accommodation. If u come from Airport ,take airport bus #A21 and get off at station #6 argyle centre only 3 min to ah shan hostel , mongkok train station is within 3 min walk
