New Hotel but inconvenient location

overall, it's a good hotel. the room is new with some view, but the location is a little bit far from train station (about 15-20 mins walking distance).

We have been here for trade affair. All the hotels were fully booked in Wan Chai so we have decided to select this one. To our surprise, the room is clean, all the transportation is nearby. I would rank this a hotel quite well.

Strategic location, nice and clean rooms. The reception is separated (3rd floor) while from the grond level you can access directly your floor via the lift.
Rich breakfast available in the morning as buffet (you'd better book it and pay it at the reception when you check in, it will be cheaper!)
Amazing view from the top roof swimming pool!
Nightlife Tip:
10 mins walking distance from Cental, 15 from Lan Kwai Fong

The bathroom is not proper and too small.

This hotel is very new, and the room size is acceptable. But the bathroom size is not acceptable at all - the bath tub and the toilet bowl are 'squeezed' together and there is no space inside the bathroom. Also the room is kind of dark with not enough lighting, and there is not even one chair inside the room!

Not Best Western standards

Rooms are too small. The hotel is probably operated by a franchise and is does not fit the standards of most Best Western hotels. Located over a mile away from the nearest subway station.

Bed was as hard as a rock. Had to stand outside (in the room's hall) to urinate and had to sit sideways to defecate due to the size of the wash room. Tub somehow didn't have a flat surface in it and my feet were overhanging the bed. Had to push aside the hotel staff that wouldn't/didn't want me to ride the elevator until the whole of the three buss tour completed it's transition to the lobby. Most of the staff was not very welcoming to westerners and the wait to get a lift in the AM was horrible. Once you were on the lift and arrived at the dinning hall you pretty much had to bulldoze your way out of the lift. Apparently.... (guess they were Korean's) don't understand that they need to move for you to leave. NOT recommended for Westerners!!!!!!!
Travel tip:
Go elsewhere! Best Western in Wanchai is a thousand time better!

The hotel is easy to get to as there is a tram stop right around the corner. Also around the corner are many economical restaurants serving local food. Very convenient.
The room is however very small. The wifi works effectively.
The check in on the 5th floor is not convenient as the lifts sometimes is over crowded.

The rooms were a little too small for comfort, but the windows made up for it with an amazing view.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Be prepared to walk about 15 minutes from the nearest MTR station. The hotel provides shuttle services, but not late into the night.
Travel light as there is no space for big luggage in the rooms.

Good Locations very small rooms
The Staff, very helpfull nothing to much.

Picked the hotel on price and location.
room very small no wardrobe or cupboard space.
Problems storing cloths and suitcases.
Who ever took the room photos must have had a good selection of creative lenes.
No light over mirror by basin and area was dark to startwith.
Plus side was certainly the staff: great team, nothing to much for them, certainly made up for the other failings.
