Great location and facilities - but basic
Quiet location right in the heart of the mid-levels
I was there for 9 nights, first impression is that the hotel is basic / no frills in decor - but I was happy to accept this as the hotel is priced very well for its location (in the middle of everything + quiet yet near Central). Bishop Lei has all facilities you could want, again at a good price. Only drawbacks - the bed was very firm and if you are a single traveller (booking Single room) - you are going to get a Single bed! So book a Double room for a bit extra. This was not immediately obvious from the photographs

Great location but small room and poor service.
near to soho and at the more quiet side of central hong kong
we are happy that there is free shuttle bus from airport express station and free shuttle bus every morning to mtr station. however, we are dissapointed that the receptionist was rude and did not provide proper explanation to our question. the hotel is near hong kong longest elevator and a mosque. request need to be made to secure room at higher floor in order to get away from morning heavy traffic noise.

Good location but small rooms
Free Wifi
Need to have another Elevator to service the guests. Quite near to the Soho area through the excalator. 3 bus stops away to the tram stop to go to the Peak.

Good location
Location is great
Thsi hotel is in a great location, very close to mid level escalators and LKF. Rooms are compact but still ok. It would suit a business traveller. Its very easy to caught out when booking, i booked a room with a single bed and did not know it until I turned up. They have smoking rooms so don't get stuck with one, remember to ask for non-smoking if you need one. Courtesy bus is very helpful.

Lives up to the expectation
clean toilet, beds, satellite tv, wifi in room.
whole hotel has wifi, however only one device can be logged in at a time. If ya have two device or there's another person that wants to use wifi, have to seek front desk to ask for another log in ID. Pool is great, not big but nice enough for a good swim and windy environment as hotel is located in the middle of the hill, hence mid-levels its called. about 15minutes to nearest MTR station. good housekeeping, fresh towels everyday, hot kettle in room. friendly front desk personnel. 4mins walk from nearest convenience store, lots of restaurant nearby. for the price, its a lil on the high side but it was a comfortable stay. Rooms a bit small but its acceptable. If ya been to Japan, you'd know what i mean.

Clean hotel, quite good and prompt service
Free wifi in room! Which is rare in most Hk better hotels. Facilities are almost all there..
Only thing is for single room, bed is really small and like one of the smallest single bed I ever seen in hotels.

Ok hotel but rooms are very small
Price and location
Friends were staying at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel but I couldn't afford he roommates, so wanted a cheaper hotel not too far away. The hotel is very basic and the rooms are very small, but it was clean and the location is fairly central. If I had the choice and funds, would stay somewhere different next time.

small room good service
service staff was good
room was small but i think it might be typical of hongkong property size. service was good but only 1 wifi id per room so i could only login from my laptop and not from my phone. had room service - breakfast set was decent but their sandwich was bad

Nice place, great location
At the top of the midlevels / soho area, close to restaurants.
The staff is pleasant, the rooms were clean and modern. 10-15 minute walk from all the restaurants and shops in Soho / Midlevel. The hotel is a quite a ways up the hill, so late night you may be hiking up the stairs or taking a taxi. They use old-school keys and prefer you drop it off and pick it up at the lobby.

Great location but small rooms
10 minute walk to central, lkf, 20 mins to central pier, clean rooms and bathroom, convenience store nearby
it just so happened to be halloween when we arrived, so while we expected to have a peaceful time in lkf (being a weekday!) we were faced with herds of crazily dressed, drunk people. it's the place to stay if you're on a budget, and want to spend a weekend partying at lkf or have a peaceful time in soho. the hotel is well priced, very easily accessible and quite in the heart of the city.
