ok lokation, clean compact rooms, ok price.
conveniently located close to soho, lan kwai fong, central and midlevel escalator.
7
we had a positive stay at bishops lei. the room although very compact was modern and clean. bus stop right out front. walking distance to botanical gardens, midlevel escalator, soho, and if you dont mind walking for 15min, to the peak tram terminus.
if you are traveling with a baby you should book the larger rooms, as the standarda are too small to fit a babycot.
by taxi you can reach starfeery pier, central and admiralty mtr station in less than 5min.
pool is clean and has a spectacular view of centrals skyscrapers.
staff is ok, not overly friendly but that is the hong kong culture not rudeness.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
take the ferry to lamma island on a sunny day. stroller friendly walk from the northern pier to a very pretty beach with golden sand and clear water. nice day out.

Great location. Small room. Great shower.
I loved th location and the relaxed, though professional atmosphere.
7.3
After spending two weeks in mainland China, I loved this transitional space into European life. Found Hong Kong Island a great location to navigate by walking and the hotel convenient to
just about everywhere I wanted to go. Enjoyed traveling up the escalator at night after dinner to my neighborhood. I felt safe and welcomed the entire time. The staff was very helpful and informed. Although my room really was very small, it was efficiently and attractively designed with a great shower and worked cozily for a two night stay before returning to the states.

Great hotel with helpful staff
Location of hotel is good close to the mid levels stairs and escalator

We stayed at this hotel three years ago and the rooms have been up dated since and are now a good quality. The WIFI in the room worked well and the staff were as helpful as the last time all your questions answered.
I would recommend this hotel

great hotel but small rooms
quiet....nice neighborhood....great hotel but small rooms

the nice neighborhood was a surprise............tell the hong kong government to put in another escalator so there is always one up and down the hill to the city. it was a big surprise that cab fares were only 3 dollars to the central part of hk.
Hotel Feature Tip:
cabs to town are only 3 dollars usd. don't eat in the hotel there are nice restaurants near by like one or 2 blocks away.

A really practical location
6
we stayed for a long weekend in a standard double room (18th floor of 23). the room was not big for european standards but if you see hong kong you know why they have to get the maximum out of their space footprint.
bed was really comfortable, but probably a bit on the short side if you are over 185 cm tall. bathroom was practical and of good quality. the place is generally clean and shows little wear.
we used the breakfast only once in the hotel's restaurant and were not very impressed. we liked more to go outside and find a local place for breakfast (though not that many nearby).
free wifi in the room is great (and something hard to find in europe)
Hotel Feature Tip:
- At <200 meters from the mid-levels escalator. Very handy to get to down-town and back.
- Take any of the buses that stop in front to go to the base station for the cable car to The Peak.

Great location, basic hotel
Mid-levels location, great shuttle bus
10
room was small but adequate. we had to move to a higher room since our room was directly over the bus stop. noisy. place was clean and everyone was nice. take advantage of the shuttle bus to get "down the hill" and back up. get the schedule off the website. we enjoyed walking down the stairs/escalator to the soho restaurant area. (easy walk) breakfast buffet was adequate and cost about.
Travel tip:
use the free shuttle bus. check out the national cathedral below the hotel (stairs just out the front door to the right) steep stairs, but worth it

Great location but small rooms
nicely located, walking distance from lkf, easy for taxis to park and access
7.3
i like this hotel, nice breakfast, walking distance from lkf, but the rooms are so small. if you are by yourself, take a single bed (the small single bed) so that you have more room for your luggage. if not, then select the suite wich has a living room as well.
Nightlife Tip:
Walk down to Lan Kwai Fong, have dinner and drinks there.

Nice rooms and good situated
Short distance walk to elevator to Soho. Nice rooms.

normal rooms a little bit small. so we took a suite room with only surcharge per night. hotel can highly be recommended and also we would go there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go to visit Hong Kong Park. It's very beautiful.
