Safe and Central HongKong
shuttle service, concierge service
6.7
the room *I had was a single, and very much so. It6 was a very tiny room with avery small bed. The mattress was, of course very hard, but as I travel more through Asia I see that they do like their hard beds in Asia. If you have hip problems consider carying some kind of a lightweight foam to place under your backside.
It might appear to be off the beaten track but it is walking distance down the hill (thankfully escalator goes back up)from the night-time back-packer pub/restaurant area.
Shuttle service is excellent.
I would not hesitate to stay there again.
Hotel Feature Tip:
It was unseasonable cold in HKK, and the room was cold. there is no central heating, just a/c, however the very helpful housekeeping staff, Tammy Chen, brought me a space heater which did nicely.

Good hotel but small rooms
7.3
Good hotel, great stay in Hong Kong. But the room is very small, can only accommodate the double bed and no remaining space left. Hotel provides free shuttle to reach to city center and bus stop right outside hotel entrance.

Average hotel with decent location at mid-levels
Decent value for money, location wise ok for mid-level, near peak and the centre
6.3
Not the best location but decently located if you are using escalators to go up and down... nice places to eat and club (using the escalators), rooms are very small, bathroom is nice and clean.

When staying at the Bishop Lei International House in January 2012, no heating,so ask for a heater and the housekeeping staff were more than happy to get us a heater and extra blankets. Hotels in HK, do not heat the rooms. the staff in housekeeping were terrific, as were the Concierge's staff, wait staff were good, unfortunately the front office staff, let the place down, when asked questions, because of their limited english got very defensive and were rude.
Would stay there again, because we know what to expect and you can ignore the front office, and deal with the other staff.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Make sure you take a harbourview suite as the rooms are a little on the small side

We just stayed there 1 night, which was great.
The room are tiny, the view was facing another building but we were not staying in the rooms too much so for the price it is a good deal for HK central

Clean and decent hotel but the rooms are small. Location is ok, just a few blocks up from SOHO.
